Sitting here and bored to hell. My misery begins when the talking heads begin. There are going to be a lot of “Havent seen a rep in years” responses.

I have just noticed these texts this morning. I am in UG, I won't name the department, but the information is being collected as one of the confirmed data points for job actions. There is definitely going to be reductions in Oncology and soon.Some of my accounts let me know this is going on as well. My manager simply said it is nothing to worry about. Marketing is just checking on message retention and what is impactful. The targets are supposedly chosen at random, but I’m not so sure. Tired of these childish games.
If there is going to be a reduction, why is Merck hiring for so many new reps throughout the country? Doesn't make sense.
