What will happen to our R&D support?

Our R&D support has been great up to this point. I know we will have a high level of attrition with the move to NJ. Areas of concern is clinical and regulatory. Some of the new hires and some recently promoted individuals are just awful. New company, new days ahead of us. Anyone else worried or is it just me?

Wth r u takin about? THERE IS NO R&D at mnk.

I agree. the only way to turn it around is to ensure we have good R&D people in place. In NJ there is a good talent pool of seasoned R&D resources- will they get rid of the current idiots and replace with more experienced talent? Time will tell.

I just met the newly promoted VP of RA and I am not impressed. I asked who is she and why is she supporting my business and all I got was blank expressions. Hold on for a bumpy ride for the next few months.

I met the new VP of RA also and heard she has a history of being previously fired. She has been known to 'embellish' her credentials. WTF, we don't do background checks here?

She's toast, soon to be gone. Bad decisions being made right and left and half-truths will get her a free ride out the door. Heard she pissed off her business lead, Bye bye.

Dont you just hate people that scream when they get into a difficult situation? She's a screamer, so damn obnoxious, and over dramatizes every god damn situation. Hopefully Steve sees the light and helps her to her next job. Perhaps if he can get her head out if his and Ravi's ass there may be a chance for that department.

Commercial hates her, she has screwed up so much it is now dangerous for anyone to take her seriously.

She's never around and from what I have been told she is flying all over the place. To do what? With who? and why?

Another Ikaria POS that we have to deal with until we are 'replaced'.

I was told by two individuals close to the situation that Ron, Hugh and Josh do not want to deal with her any more. She has given bad and often times wrong advice which has led to poor business decisions. Her management has been informed but they seem to be slow on correcting the situation. Hate to be seen with 'egg' on their face I suppose.

I am fairly new to Mallinckrodt and report to the VP of Regulatory that is mentioned above. I don't know how the clinical group feels about the current VP they have, but I am re-evaluating my decision solely based on the VP I report up into. She is a scatterbrained and unreliable individual who has no depth or breath of knowledge as far as regulatory goes. I needed her consensus on an important filing and she was not able to give a critical view. It will be my ass on the line if I make a wrong decision- not hers- and I don't think I should shoulder the risk based on my lower level and far less salary I am making versus her. I can't determine how she was ever placed in the role she is in, clueless, she is absolutely clueless. I am already setting up interviews to leave, be sure before you jump that the clinical group can offer you a good work environment. I can't discuss with HR, I have been told she is friendly with the HR person as they are both historical Ikaria. Someone needs to look at what she is doing, what she needs to do and determine if she is even capable to act as a VP. I don't think so.

If you are who you say you are. You are not only an idiot but you are fucking fired.
You are another great example of the stupidity at Mallinckrodt. You shouldn't go anywhere. You fit right in with all the other c-suite dumb fucks.
I mean honestly, how did you get to where you are being so stupid?
What a Tool!
