what right?

I have been pretty darned consistent in my statements about interference i foreign governments.

I think this opinion piece is a little overstated but an interesting commentary with food for thought. There is a concerning element here that can't be denied.

So I guess you'd say Ronnie Rayguns had no business saying, "Tear down this wall, Mr Gorbachev?"

Not even close to the same. Reagan met with Gorbachev and acted in a diplomatic role to discuss the wall. He did not incite an uprising against the government and did not tell the political leaders to step down. He did not bomb the nation to cause leadership change. Gorbachev agreed that they would tolerate having the wall taken down.

What right does a US president have for calling for other leaders to step down? Egypt, Libya, Syria, Yemen, who is next? He complains about the wars he inherited and escalated and now starts more. He has shamelessly encouraged and instigated uprisings and violence against established governments without any consideration of who or what might replace them. Were his economic policies not enough to destroy America? Is he really determined to start WWIII? Or is it just the final step in giving greater control to extremists in the middle east? Seriously, what the hell is he thinking?

He has no right at all. Obama is a fool....a buffoon....an idiot....when it comes to intervention nonsense.

With that said, thank God "bomb, bomb...bomb Iran" Johnboy McCain wasn't elected.

We would have wars going on in Syria, Georgia, and the Balkans....along with Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Maybe a little side action going on with North Korea.

We sure do love our wars, don't we?

Oh for gods' sake, Rayguns gave plenty of support to the contras in the 70s and then when Congress ruled it illegal he went right on sdecretly. You're rewriting history. Give us a break.

Exactly ! We got the lesser of 2 evils war-wise and a socialist economics wise. We keep getting a radical wing nut in response to a radical wing nut.
Perry is looking pretty strong right now, I like a few of his ideas, dislike others and I think he tries to swagger & talk like Bushwhacker. Waving that gun around and trying to be a cowboy makes me wonder if he's trying to channel Rayguns......... he's a funny guy.........

Perry and the Bush's hate each other. If the Bush's hate him then that's a plus mark for Perry because the Bush's are scumbags.

Thank you Hairy! Someone finally gets it!

Yes, it is possible that things could have been worse with McCain. He has lost it and it is past time for him to retire. Still, knowing it could be worse does not make current actions acceptable.

People screamed when Bush took action against Iraq when there was not an imminent threat. I don't want to get bogged down on the lies about WMD, but the fact that Americans just a few short years ago didn't think we should take this kind of action. Obama seems over the top, blatantly inciting and supporting uprisings against governments, demanding leaders step down. It was only a couple years ago, this was supposed to feed terrorism and American hatred. Now it is applauded. Makes no sense and will come back to bite us in the end.

I just read that Dick Cheney's new book is going to have a lot of negative things to say about W. It'll be interesting to see what he has to say. I'm not quite sure who I think is the bigger scumbag between the 2. The book comes out later this month.
