What right does a US president have for calling for other leaders to step down? Egypt, Libya, Syria, Yemen, who is next? He complains about the wars he inherited and escalated and now starts more. He has shamelessly encouraged and instigated uprisings and violence against established governments without any consideration of who or what might replace them. Were his economic policies not enough to destroy America? Is he really determined to start WWIII? Or is it just the final step in giving greater control to extremists in the middle east? Seriously, what the hell is he thinking?

Obama never does ANYTHING for altruistic reasons. There is always a political reason for everything he does. He's playing "World Leader". I think he's sensitive enough to know that he did absolutely nothing to earn his Nobel except going cold-turkey against his cocaine addiction when he was fifteen. He's afraid they'll ask for the money back.

He may be getting into his "End Game". Once he knows he is a lame duck, he will work like an automaton, signing admistrative directives to promote redistribution of wealth.

So you say - It is funny how cons love to pile on President Obama for doing something that previous Presidents have done, including Bush.

Actually, he didn't cll for him to step down, the Secretary of State did and as far as the war in Libya, he wisely avoided sending troops. And now Republicansd are bitching about, 'he shouild have had more direct involvement'. I'm not necessarily an Obama fan at the moment but - which way do you want it?

I think I'm being pretty clear the US should not be involved.

And yes, he has called for him to step down, along with Assad and others. Do a quick google search. There are repeated obama statements dating back to at least Feb 2011.

Well duhhh ! Revolution is happening all across the middle east. Any sitting US President would be asked their position and he's taken the correct one. He was wise to let NATO handle it IMO. Why are you kvetching?
