What managers are like....when they DON’T work for Supernuts

Ran into the Aimovig rep outside an office this morning, and he had his manager with him. The rep went inside to sign in while I chatted with the manager.

I warned him that this was an office that doesn’t let managers back, to which he replied, “oh I never go back unless my rep asks me to. I know how it is, and I trust my reps to do their thing. Unless it’s a lunch or something, I leave it up to the rep. In this day and age, I know having me with them can do more harm than good.”

I asked if he could be my boss ;)

My boss absolutely does more harm than good, especially in hallway calls.
Awesome

Oh no! That behavior is unacceptable in pharma! I hope you got his name and demanded to speak to his hiring manager *wink wink*

Yes we have patent protection until 2023. That protection may be pointless with Qudexy (topiramate ER) going generic with Zydus in March of 2020.

Just wanted to clear any intentional or unintentional confusion by the previous poster.

The generic has existed since that company launched the product. Other than how awesome their corporate accounts people are at making deals, I’m not intimidated by this news. I fight and scrap to get any commercial script I can in my state, any Medicaid patient has to step through that product anyways. It would be nice to see our corporate accounts make something happen.

The “generic” has always been in name only and is priced about 85% of the brand. It will be a real $4 generic soon so you probably should be at least a little worried scrappy. Agree with the pitiful performance by corporate accounts though it’s embarrassing
