What just happened?

This was known last year. When they told the PC3 reps it was going to be a 'lift and shift' they meant 'lift and shaft'. They dangle the carrot wanting reps to hold on and drain every friggin ounce of you that they can get and then kick you to the curb. We are all numbers and the upper mgt doesn't give a flying fuck about who stays and who goes!

Everything is planned well in advance..Isn’t it curious how they announce the Las Vegas CKD sales meeting, and sent us an invite only to abruptly cancel it shortly thereafter…They knew then what was going to happen.

I have never seen my life seen a company fuck something up as bad as they are fucking up. Mounjaro should have been the most amazing launch. Instead it has been a total joke and now some people will lose their jobs because of Lilly's complete ineptitude. If anyone in PC1 or PC2 thinks that they won't be affected by this at some point, they y'all are idiots.

can someone summarize what happened on the call? aren't you gearing up for an obesity launch?

Sure, here is the summary; we are all disposable cogs in the machine. No one should ever feel secure in his/her position at any time because the moment you begin to feel that way, you will be unceremoniously disposed of, and the machine will continue to move forward without any memory of your existence.

You don't know what you're talking about. Mounjaro is a dangerous drug that isn't needed for weight loss. It appears that Lilly is doing the right thing by not launching this drug. I could be incorrect about the launch but I am correct about the drug itself.

Lilly has to get approval from the FDA for the safety and effectiveness of the drug before they can launch it. Lilly has stated they have fast track designation from FDA and could receive an answer by the end of this year.
Doctors and NPs that I know who have used it with patients and don’t make money from Lilly don’t share your pessimistic view.

Damn so did the whole pc3 team get the ax?

Good lord.

No

Somehow leadership said they didn’t frisée that senior care was worthless with them selling Trulicity to nursing homes lmaooo. So they decided to eliminate senior care all of the sudden.
Then they decided that to be fair to all 44 senior care reps, that they’d let them compete for the obesity positions that were already awarded to PC3 about 2 months ago.

So now with their wisdom & fancy maneuvering, they’ve pushed off 370 PC3 reps right before they launch obesity.

Genius move it tell ya. Fucking genius.

Oh yeah, they last minute decided that there’d be less obesity territories than originally promised just 2 months ago.
Our leadership is top notch and forward thinkers lolololol lmaooo lolololol

First, do no harm. FAERS.

solid summary of my existence over the last 10 years!

This is dave ricks senior leadership at play. Indy’s cult has lead lilly down this road. If you have stock you should sell now. Lilly has been overvalued for years now and the poor leadership that has been eroding this company from the inside is now seeing the outcomes of its decisions. Multiple failed launches and failing divisions. Pipelines of drugs that are barely being approved or not getting any approval. The field pays for the ineptitude of indy.

So damn right. Sadly. We know ai if coming after sooo many jobs and people but the speed, I could have never imagined. Commercial pharma gigs are fucking golden cuffs. Or else we would all be doing something more meaningful tbh

The best advice I can give any current or aspiring pharma rep is to go back to school. Pursue a nursing, PA, athletic training, exercise sciences degree, or something similar. Those are the types of degrees that will be needed to sell the next generation of medicines. The days of getting by with a marketing degree are long gone. You're better off starting a business on your own rather than obtaining a marketing degree because you'll learn more. Best wishes.
