What is up in Florida??

It would seem that the Florida leader is extremely well connected at corp. That is fine since who you know is more important that what you know. The question is whether the org structure is getting the desired results. Morale is bad, but it is through much of LabCorp. How is service and the financial results?
 






That is if you consider the Florida "leader" a leader. He has been here a year and a half and I can't think of one thing he has been a leader on. Can someone list his successes please, I am open minded if someone can give me one.
 






UT met our new leader the past two days for the first time. VB did a good job but problem is we didn't believe a word he said. When NC is gone we got hard times ahead. We will survive with our team, but will they keep LCA is the question?
 










































Wondering how the replacements are doing in Florida. Many experienced folks with a lot of industry knowledge cut in the reorg of Florida and South Central. Have these stars hit the ground producing or are they lost?
 






Did anyone else hear that 20 Fl and Sc IT employees were riffed during a conference call a few weeks ago? Supposedly during the call JW encouraged everyone to apply for a new position they were creating, but it never got approved. I've never heard of people getting cut by conference call?

They announced this merger in January and 11 months later the division is no closer to merging staff and cultures. There are still 2 IT directors who are in a huge power struggle.

Goes to show what you know, the accessioning dept. is run out of an aux building, the lab itself is tucked snuggly inside the University of Tennessee Hospital. I don't care if you want to knock people around, that's your business, your detriment. But my company does NOT run it's business out of a damned trailer.

Yes they riffed us on a conference call. Had over 100 people on the call and said if you don't get a call from your manager in the next hour you are safe. JW the HR lady is a total joke. Our HR director PH is gone now, been gone a month but did anybody tell us, NO!! The communication in the new division is a joke, and all of the SC leaders are gone now. If you aren't located in Tampa kissing ass you aren't going to survive !!

NC's position was listed on LabCorp careers and VB from Tampa told us that they were in the process of interviewing candidates, that's been months ago and no replacement named yet. SN applied for it and was interviewed but wasn't even in the running. There was an ops review ~6 months ago and none of the people that came from Tampa were pleased with him at all. Knoxville could be a great lab but like the rest of LabCorp the management just isn't there.
 






What gives you the impression that anyone in Tampa is qualified to make a decision or be please. These Tampa people are the same people that were running the bottom division of eight division, didn't fix its problems. Everything is wrong in the SC according to Tampa, that is just an attempt to cover there shitty performance over the years. Menendez couldn't manage a rock in a box of rocks and has his nose so far up VB's butt he is about to come out VB's throat. SP, DR and the rest of them are jokes. I just want to gag everytime I see or hear them. SN never had a chance, would probably be correct.
 






Do you think DB is finally seeing that NC is NOT a good leader ?
She should be on the way out, if you look around and remember the old S. Central division, you will see what a pathetic leader she is. Constantly making shady deals and no body likes her boy in the big ATL (RH) He is always stepping on the Reps and NC let's him get away with everything.
