As is Biden. It tells you a lot about a country when they chose to follow and worship a man with no morals who could care less about the lives of the people he rules in terms of trying to protect them against spreading an illness that can kill them - and I’m describing the former guy.
What is the severance for those who won't get the jab? Anyone know? Can we negotiate this? Please real answers and don't be snarky.
The word I've heard is that you wouldn't get severance since you would be terminated for disobeying a mandate/requirement.
A mandate isn't going to work unless there's pain involved. If you've been with the company 25 years and the choice is "get vaccinated or leave with 50 weeks of severance", everyone would rush for the door. If the choice is "get vaccinated or leave with a kiss on the lips", different outcome.
There is NO severance. Is it hard to ask your manager? Easy.
Which is precisely why they have not disclosed the process, even vaccinated people would lie and say they were not vaccinated if they could get a package and get out of this dumpster fire.
Transparency- you know.
I fully believe some will negotiate a severance
Can’t negotiate a severance for a policy violation and not getting the vaccine is a policy violation.[/QUOTE
Agreed, issues and assessments of job performance can be subjective. Policy is black and white, either you are compliant or you are not. Just like getting caught cheating on expense report. Gone!
The only hope for unvaccinated now is legal objections to the policy that stick.
Of course today’s fully vaccinated will have to line up for shot #3 to maintain their employment status soon.

What is our severance?

I think we should have a policy that all women of child bearing age *MUST* be on birth control - this policy is imperative to protect our fragile and overloaded health system from being overwhelmed but moreso to maintain GSK's productivity, readiness and preparedness. I don't see how anyone could find this objectionable.
