What is Acumed thinking?

Thinks of ways to help himself and hurt the field workers. He’s a complete waste of space. Hasn’t had a good idea ever. Surrounds himself with simps and it’s hurting all of us.

Watching Hjalmar stand around at these conventions trying to look important is comical. What a clown.
He actually told one of the engineers not to work on a new product - apparently we don't want to make something new that surgeons want because we have a marketable advantage with the current product. Just tell the surgeon to cut off the part he doesn't want for the simple procedure. Brilliant! Let's put that in the surgical technique. No wonder surgeons don't trust us. THEY actually know better than that!

Just remember the idiots in compliance will go after you if you do-not follow the Surgical Technique exactly. Having extra instruments & implants in your set is a big no no for the idiots that have never been in the OR.

“Upgrading products will cost us Money”.
To be fair, in some of the systems they've evaluated for upgrades, the cost to significantly upgrade is more than the cost to develop a new system. The problem is that they're also against hiring engineers to develop the new systems, so everything stagnates while they "save money" by doing nothing.

There's finally some glimmers of realization that not putting out any major new products for years has a negative impact. So, the next problem that is about to hit will be a massive push to launch SOMETHING fast, but it won't have any differentiation and will likely be outdated before it gets to market. I also expect a push to buy products already on the market to have something new, but it will have to be something they can get cheap (not typically an indication of quality).
