What has Ken Keller and Rob done since coming to DSI

Other than bringing a horrible product like CL108, injection iron, and cutting home office and sales what have these two done to make DSI better? The only reason we have been hitting our number is due to cuts in staff across the board. History is repeating itself. Ken ran Spectrum into the ground and he is on his way to doing the same to DSI. Rob, where to begin with this guy. He has no concept of leadership or how to drive sales. Look at his lack luster National director s and choices for RDs. Blame R&D all you want but the job of sales is to figure out how to sell what is in our bag. Ken and Rob have failed.
 






Both very smart gentleman, not strong leaders. Not sure anyone in the industry could have made lemonade with the lemons they inherited from a sundowning portfolio/weak pipeline perspective...it was admittedly an awfully tall order. While there was absolutely quite a bit of housecleaning to be done when they arrived, the task called for a sponge...not a power washer.

If you came from Amgen you were a forward-thinking genius, if you were legacy DSI you were a narrow-minded dope. The M.O. was to create a "clique" culture that effectively alienated droves of highly accomplished people.
 






Really? Smart? Cl108 was an absolute disaster. Why anyone would buy this molecule makes no sense. With all the bad press on opioids and Ken wanted to make us a pain franchise? Savaysa, price it low and make it a loss leader, something. You are right, they did inherit a tire fire. But those two single handedly poured the right amount of gas on this fire to burn DSI to the ground never to come back. Ok I might buy that Ken is kinda smart but he did run Spectrum in the ground. Rob, how can you even say he is smart.? Look at his lack luster hires. They both came from Amgen when they had some great products, so let's be honest anyone who held a leadership position with Amgen back then looks like a Jack Welch or Steve Jobs. But pull the blockbusters and you see real quick what these Renaissance men can do. Which is nothing. Tick toc, next move by these two will be cutting all people with high salaries to save Dsi for another year. Hate to say it but we have run out of Fat to cut, if something drastic does not happen DSI USA will be out of business. Imo a merger is/ buyout is not an option because we have no good molecules.

One EBD won the west, one RBD is number one or two, all the others are legacy Dsi, GN, PE, LT, all the RDs and nearly every DM too and there are hardly any in home office. Development is the problem, companies need new products, at least ken went and for Movantik and new Pain drugs what the hell would we be selling and I make more now than I did before my car is better and the cronyism is gone. You should be thankful ken came here we wouldn't exist without him or you'd be spending all day selling Savaysa. Name is one drug they should have bought that they didn't? Come on give us winner that's launched since ken got here that he missed? My guess is your just one more bottom feeder and I hope your one of the dirty forty that gets the boot!

Past performance predicts future performance and too bad the japs did not look at how he ran spectrum into the ground. Praise Marty Moose, I mean Ken Keller, because it's all R and D's fault. If a so called drug like pradaxa can have sales of 1Billion then savaysa should be able to do at least 500M instead of 20M that it does now. I agree with you regarding K & R. They should be fired. On another note, the problem with Savaysa is lack of managed care coverage. Someone other than the reps need to be held accountable for once.

omg, really pradaxa came out years beofre savaysa, has coverge and a full lable, they also spend a lot more money, what is the solution for a company that can't make a new prduct, think of any industry and imaging how long the'd survive, anyone with half a brain, clearly not you, understands that r&d is the engine that fuels company growth, not one or two ommercial people. just glad youll be gone monday thyve done a great job getting rid of all the bottom feeders who did nothing for years exept drop samples and copay cards, yeah, thats a tough job that demands high pay, youre a POS, see ya sucker
 






I agree with you regarding K & R. They should be fired. On another note, the problem with Savaysa is lack of managed care coverage. Someone other than the reps need to be held accountable for once.

lets try an education, youre the fourth product to market, with a limited labely, a lousy heparin lead in and you are years late to the market. you have fewer indications then all your competitors and payors are geting milions in rebates from other agents, and you want them to giv this up for an inferior product? guess what, you cant generate demane payors dont care, no on needs four of these drugs, your post demonstrates your total and absolute ignorance of how the world works. the only thing that surpasses your ignorance is yur stupidity ,congratulations for being so dumb, it's not easy but you figured it out/ mayer you should stop taking pics of young boys and sell your shitty drugs
 






I truly enjoy reading all of these posts, even in times when I myself have no idea if I will have a job come noon tomorrow. So many hoping other lose their jobs for stating nothing more than their opinion, when they themselves have no idea if they too will have a job after the dust settles. You are wasting your time. Stop hoping for others to lose their jobs and worry about yourself. I can tell you, from two plus decades in this industry, that numbers are not the saving grace they used to be. Seen too many top performers get "thanks, but no thanks" without rhyme or reason. I wish the best luck to everyone, including myself, tomorrow. I'm no spring chicken and there just aren't the number of opportunities out there anymore

There's always a rhyme or a reason as to why someone is let go. Top talent, high emotional intelligence and people with great attitudes are always retained.
