What happened to Dale Wiodson

He may have seen the writing on the wall. The RST division was spared from layoffs last year but my guess is if they don’t get the specialists to write breztri they may very well be out of a job at the end of the year.

People wake up! No pharma company has any loyalty to their reps. This guy probably went to another company for more money. That is the name of the game. It used to be loyalty to a company was respected and anyone who jumped ship to many companies was considered a job hopper and it was looked down upon. Things are different today. You stay too long you are considered complacent and they don't want you. I for one am not happy with any companies 2 or 3 percent (at most) pay raises. You leave you get 10% or more. AZ is my fifth drug company. Every move I've made has been for significant pay raises. Now I'm looking again for another company who is willing to pay me for what I want. It's all bullshit so why not go where the money is?

100% accurate. And as a DSM, I have tenured PSS’s that are very complacent. Being tenured, other younger reps look to them as leaders. So they just do the bare minimum as well. Those tenured reps are on the short list. If they last the year, they will be fortunate.

One of the best posts on CP. 100% accurate. I'm looking too AZ my third drug company.

Yes, and as a DSM, you no doubt are really killing it! Let me guess - you show up for a lunch, then have to go home for a "teleconference". Right. Everyone is complacent - the job is mind numbing, and you know it.

You're right! No loyalty either way. Even senior leaders jump ship ala Hudson and others. I agree about the terrible pay raises year after year. Broaden your experience in different TA's and go to the highest bidder.

Well sunshine you are right. The job is mind numbing. Having to work with some rep you inherited who couldn't sell pardons in a jail for eight hours is awful. Yes DM's play the game. Put in the number of field days required (called a lunch and letter) and stay off the radar. Sunshine DM's make a whole hell of a lot of money we sit home at least one day a week (LOL office day) and we have more freedom than you. I love how you "throw stones" yet you fake 90% of your calls.

LOL!!!! As a fellow DM this is so true. I can't stop laughing. I inherited a terrible district. Slowly getting rid of the bad reps and replacing them. Just can't spend eight hours with them just impossible. Had my boss work with one of them. He lasted four hours. LOL too funny.
