Info on this issue. D.H. Is not a respected rep in this area. Doctors and office staff complain about her more than any other rep. Offices have changed their policies on seeing reps due to her behavior in offices. She's overly aggressive and pushy. I don't doubt that she is very hard to work with. R.P. knew her and her behavior when he accepted the job. That doesn't excuse her and how difficult she is to work with, however, you should never go into a working partnership (knowingly) with someone you know you can't get along with.
Most offices believe D.H. To be the reason for R.P.'s firing. In all honesty, he was not calling on accounts that he should have been. I don't doubt that she turned him in or complained loudly about him, but when you work with someone like her you better not give reason for her to stab you, and if you have been in arbitration why in the world would you do things she could complain about. R.P. did not call on docs out of town. He tended to hang out in a few offices that gave him business when he was with Pfizer. The difference is those docs liked the PRODUCT he was ripping at Pfizer so he could get by with it there. This business model will not work with B & L products, sorry guys, but they just don't have the usage that Xalatan did.
As for her husband, he is a not so very busy Optometrist. I used to call on him with contact lens solutions which is about all he does or is good for. Nothing clinical going on in his office and he has no drug reps calling on him due to no volume. I doubt B & L would make decisions based on him, especially since a they knew he was not a player when she got the job.
