What does the Customer Development Team actually do? From my experience, they fly around earning hotel & airline status.

I know we’re supposed to bitch and moan on here but I’ve had decent experiences working with them. I mean be honest with yourselves here, we all know reps who don’t leave their houses, frms who literally don’t do anything or leave their offices to see customers and managers who can’t remember which day of the week it is or which products they’re selling.
Facts. Makes sense to cut a bunch of the scrubs in this salesforce. A lot of hires over the past couple years throughout the bankruptcy. Fire them and recruit again now that the bankruptcy is behind us. HAS to be better talent than this.
trim the fat and pay the people who deserve more wages that mirror industry standard. Problem solved, apparently we have $500+ million more than we expected to. Pay the people who make you money more, because for the past 6+ years you haven’t done shit for the anymore but home office people

I legit have a big practice and they have taken the group to dinner several times. My main doctor has now said it’s a joke. They promise all these ideas, funding, partnerships but there is zero follow up.
How do they measure ROI?
