What are some of the downfalls for working with Curascript?

you guys are funny... nice to hear other people hate the place. I quit earlier in the year and have a much better job, get to work from home, make almost 50% more than CS paid me, don't have to go out to that shithole called St. Louis, and am doing what I actually wanted to be doing. Get out while you still can.

I'll share my experiences from a patient stand point. From my dealings with Curascript, their employees are incompetent. First off my insurance change, which i informed them in October of 2005. My next dose of the drug the provided me at 2500 a shot was sent in December and then again in January. In late January i find out that they were trying to charge this to my old insurance and didn't record me new insurance information. By this time the drug was already sent out and my insurance required a prior authorization. Being that the drug was already sent out, a prior authorization cannot be obtained. Now they are sending me bills for nearly $6000. It has since gone to collection and is likely ruining my credit rating. Now i have set up a payment plan with them to pay $20 a month, which is far more than this company deserves. I figured that at this rate it will take nearly 25 years to pay them off, i would imagine that the way this company does business that they will be out of business long before then. Or at least i hope so. They screwed up and now i have to pay, they don't deserve a cent of my money.

Curascript is a freaking mess. Glenn Bogner is worthless and Steve Roberts is a know nothing yes man. If you didn’t have Steve Lynch you would all be dead in the water. He is best manager you have. Axium Is much better.

You are seriously retarded arnt you. Glen Bogner doesnt work here anymore and Steve Lynch hasnt worked here in over a year. Axium by the way is mess. They are about to go under due to the fact that there employees cant read or write at a 5th grade level.

I don't know about working for Curascript but as a customer I have nothing good to say. They are incompetent. My mother is on oral chemo for colon cancer, she has been taking it for 6 months, she has a dr appt every 3 weeks, her dr writes a script for her chemo and faxes it from his office as she watches and a confirmation of the fax is always recvd. The next day she is to receive her chemo by 12pm by Fed Ex but it never arrives, she's supposed to start her chemo on the day after her dr appt. On Monday she calls only to be told by the staff that her script was never received by fax and that she will have to call her dr to have it faxed to them again. She calls her dr, they fax the script AGAIN a confirmation is received AGAIN and my mother calls the pharmacy AGAIN to verify that they received it. Of course it's there now but then they launch into billing issues. My mom has a co-pay, she pays it each and every time, she has not ever missed paying but they always seem to be fixated on that puny little $70 bucks even though her chemo costs almost $3000 AND her insurance pays that. She informs them that she will not pay them one red cent until she receives her meds so they loaf around and wait until wednesday to send it. Mom usually receives her chemo by thursday afternoon and is now 4 and a half days behind starting each round. This has been going on for 5 months. Not only that but they have the gall to tell my mother that she should give THEM a courtesy call A WEEK IN ADVANCE so that they know her script will be coming. My mother never knows from one appt to the next if she will be continuing with her chemo that round because if her blood work is not good the dr has to adjust the dosage. I don't know what any of you know about chemo and cancer but a chemo patient is supposed to start their chemo at the same time for every dose regardless of the milligrams, my mother has been forced to postpone hers by 4-5 days each round. Chemo patients are also not supposed to endure unnecessary stress since it inhibits their recovery from cancer. My mother is saddled with stress from those incompetent baboons. If my mother does not recover from this cancer as a result of the undue stress that this pharmacy has placed on her I swear no one will ever fear Armageddon because what I unleash on them will be 10 times worse than anything satan could think of or accomplish. They are idiots and I would never work for them, being a customer is hellish enough I can only imagine what their employees go through. My mother has no choice but to use them as her pharmacy because that is whom her insurance contracts with but you have a choice to work for them or not. Don't, unless you are a glutton for punishment.

They could care less about the Patient or the employee. I worked for them for 5 years and the service just got worse and worse since Express scripts took over. They have managers who only care about themselves and are flat out liars. S.Roberts is the worst I have seen..Biggest Bull shitter in the whole place but keeps getting promoted. he must have something on someone in St.louis.....I am so thankfull I am no longer there....

Someone needs to start a class-action against the Pharmacy Express Scripts!!! They mess up people money they either take it w/o permission, or don't take it at all & member doesn't know for months then they want it all at once, mess up ppl insurance, can't keep up with the copay assistance programs to help individuals with their copay amts billing them months later & then they won't pay, letting the programs expires & then letting the member be the fall-guy, the ppl in Orlando are LAZY & GOOD FOR NOTHING & helping to make the company more of a mess..WHAT WAS WELLPOINT THINKING!!! in selling their million$ baby to a company that don't know what the hell they are doing!!! Orlando ppl sitting down there in shorts sets & flip-flops must be looking out at the sand or rather got their heads in the sand THIS COMPANY SUCKS!! & why isn't a civil or class action lawsuit been done on them yet..WAKE UP MEMBERS!!! and there are a lot of you that can get this company to start doing right by you or getting them sold to somebody that knows what they are doing!!!

Express Scripts is setting up for take over. They do not care about their service to anyone. All jobs were moved to India and Singapore in IT and other "non-core" areas are moving as well (but there is really not much "core" to a PBM). They hate pharmacists so all their systems have been approved to replace your local pharmacist. Good U.S. employees are terminated, worked to death till they quit or they are lumped in a layoff. Accenture and other contractor are eating up any direct project manager jobs. The reason for the downfall, George Paz will get 41 million if company is bought out - it is in his golden contract. The days of yearly stock split for ESRX are gone, so now its time to get the final bonus by awaiting takeover. Rumors abound that Express will lose their DOD contract since they have violated many aspects to provide U.S. citizen employees supporting it. If this rumor proves to be true, then their Arizona office will close. It is just a matter of a few months time to see this occur. The gov't gave Express a ton of tax breaks, and there are a lot people pretty ticked (including articles in their local STL paper). It is really difficult since most patients are forced to use whoever their company provides - and who knows who will take over Express Scripts - however, it will not be the current up and comers in the company to make CEO (sorry Pat) - but I am sure they are set with their golden contracts too. "iceberg ahead"

Yeah, and now some macho powerplay by Pat to take out Freedom is their latest casualty. A location that delivers on the patient care commitment and serves their market like no other will be flattened in no time. How about the ethical and strategic senior leaders of Express Scripts start holding the others accountable to act and align to the core values that built their company.

Unfortunately the "core values", which they posted everywhere, were the values which were established under Barrett Toan (the one who put ESI on the map of wallstreet). And now their current CEO George is there to scoop up all the beans (being that he is a bean counter). But he will not drop one bean for Pat. Never work for a company that is run by a CPA - only because the strategy always involves cost cutting and no real innovation. It is sad when ESI buys these other great companies, then forces them down a torturous work path, only to hand their jobs to foreign shores now.

I can honestly say as an old employee, and just arriving to Florida was the only job I can get due to certification out of states not excepted in the state of Florida. It's the worst job I have ever worked at. They treat their employees horrible(like picking cotton) and receiving pennies. If your sick in the hospital you receive points although you have doctors excuse. You get a flat tire on the way to work you get points. They add up and your terminated. Health insurance is high, and doesn't cover much, procedure change everyday, Supervisors are nice to who they know or like, fix times and work with the ones who can snitch. Excuses on cutting pay! I would not recommend anyone to work for this company. Turn around is crazy! They layoff departments, but then hire others.

I'm not going to repeat what everyone has already said. I just wanted to let
those that are seeking employment to be prepared for the worst with this company.
They really do not care about the employees and although they may say they care
about the patients it really all boils down to greed. Whatever it takes to get those greenbacks in George Paz pockets.
