So just as we all suspected! My new javelin report has coincidentally went down by 8k this month! Go figure! Such a bait and switch so everyone keeps working .. reps thinking they are going to get a 30k plus payout! We all knew that the numbers wouldn’t add up! This is why the sales force doesn’t trust you!!! Shame on you.

do the right thing and pay out a big bonus to the entire sales force for once! You screwed us last trimester and let’s face it.. no one has made any money here since the launch of Leqvio. It’s no wonder everyone is looking for a new job. This franchise is the worst I’ve ever seen.

Not to point out the obvious, but goals go up (rather aggressively) every month. You can reasonably expect the number to continue to crater. Hopefully you will at least get something on your August report.
 












Did anyone else notice the IC Policy Novartis just had us sign off on now states that anyone who quits prior to the payment date for a previous incentive cycle “are not eligible to receive an incentive payment for that incentive cycle, subject to state and local law?” I know when I came to Novartis I was surprised they paid people out the bonus they earned even when they left the company. Is this new in the policy this year? I’m thinking they slipped this in to save some money during this time when so many are leaving. So I guess we’re all staying until December now to see if they pay us these big incentives….or if they go ahead and switch them out.
 




I don’t know when you came on board to Novartis, but they changed that awhile ago. At least 5 years ago. They only pay when it’s a restructure and your let go. Otherwise you have to be here. They used to prorate it.

This place is such a bait and switch! Dangle a carrot in front of your reps and surprise… your IC falls by 8-10k every month!!! Will be peanuts by the time it’s paid out! Never worked during a launch period where zero money is available during a launch! No contests. No one making any money in IC. Awful place

If it doesn't read $0.00, you're doing better than quite a few Leqvio leads.
The part of all this that remains incomprehensible is the backfilling of vacancies.
Dez is getting his wish - people are quitting in droves.
Why fill spots you're going to have to liquidate when Entresto goes generic next year?
How fucking cruel are these people?
Hire, train, send into territory, then fire next spring.
I guess it makes sense to him.

Cruel. They required Amplity to fill vacancies right up until the day they cut the contract early in 2020.

this place is so unethical! Of course you were never going to make 40k. As predicted, the real payout is a joke! There is no money to make here even w a launch. No contests. No IC. No wonder everyone has stopped working and has zero motivation.

Crm is really awful.
As a leqvio rep my options are to either work really hard to establish leqvio business and not get paid or to do the bare minimum and also not get paid. It’s way less hassle to do just enough to stay off the radar and make the same amount of money.
The level of disfunction and contempt in this group is unreal. To say moral is low is an understatement. It’s my understanding that the bulk of the leqvio failure blame is directly on sales. How convenient to forget about ISET, Frms, and adsocs and how this was going to be the smoothest launch in history. How convenient to push absurd metrics to sales after paying people at director level to do nothing for years. How convenient to continue to recognize the people who play the corporate brown nosing game but don’t actually see customers or make any impact. How convenient to look the other way as a few territories are carrying the top areas in the nation. The view from the cheap seats in nj sure is spectacular.

I hate to nitpick but you forgot the Leqvio locator, the FTO debacle, the one-year delay and the complete lack of usable, accurate sales data.
Go ahead and pin those on sales, Dez.
Either that or call your shithead buddy Duane and ask him what the fuck he was thinking.

This all resulted in the first of what I’m sure will be multiple downsizing over the next year or two. This division has turned into one of the worst situations that I’ve ever seen in the pharmaceutical industry. It’s just unbelievable how everyone in management looks away.
 




I heard that one oncology team has been goaled on accounts with no prior history, they admitted to messing up the goals and aren’t doing anything about it. A few of the now top reps had no business coming out of their territory for a year and a half and now look like rockstars with their 20 scripts. Seems illegal.
