So funny. Let us bask in our delusions of grandeur that we’re special and not just pharma reps. Here Twinkie consumption and Botox use is legendary
So very true. The stories are just priceless...Blame their toxic, micro-managing culture with primary care managers with no patient services experience trying to manage FAS like primary care sales reps. You want to fix that culture? Get rid of primary care people managers and hire true patient services leaders. FAS joke about their Sr. Mgr team privately. They're clueless, but they think they're great.
While this is true, most FRM's at other companies also don't do any buy and bill or reimbursement. This title is so Abbvie can be different, but it,'s also by design. It makes it more difficult for an FAS who is interviewing externally for what everyone else calls an "FRM" role.It not inaccurate to call them FAS because they really don’t deal with reimbursement. Almost exclusively focused on part D, self-administered drugs rather than part B, physician-administered drugs. Big difference.
So very true. You get all the way through to the third round, fourth round, and the hiring managers - or someone from the team you have to interview with is threatened so they shoot you down...While this is true, most FRM's at other companies also don't do any buy and bill or reimbursement. The micro-management has taken on the new pharma rep level. No matter the experience, the favoritism, the endless "zoom" calls, the BS weekly "check-ins". Brand new rep 101...And this is Manager level???So very true. The stories are just priceless...
Abbvie struggles to retain talent in large part due to the endless layers if inept managers who do nothing to develop people. Always concerned with their own preservation above all else....and yes, lots of favoritism and preferential treatment for favorites. The micro-management has taken on the new pharma rep level. You obviously cant get out of primary care. Oh wait - you are specialty sales. You dorkAbbvie struggles to retain talent in large part due to the endless layers if inept managers who do nothing to develop people. please thank the revolving door of senior leaders who only act like they know what they are talking about. and the Sasquatch director who lacks experienceThey just changed the title to FRM - but for all the different FAS roles, Rheum/Derm, Migraine etc. RBA's from Botox are now downgraded to lower pay grade scale. I cannot wait to see the turnover from there! Gastro is upset they were not differentiated, legacy AbbVie sit in little puddles of urine just thankful for the opportunity NOT to seel these dogs once Tremfya hits the market...
We now officially welcome you to Abbvie. Everyone will be the same pay grade regardless. Oh, but you can rest assured that all within that pay grade are "underpaid." Some are underpaid to the point where it's criminal, but it's their fault for staying and allowing Abbvie to take advantage of them. Get in line or grow a pair and remove yourself from this 4 alarm dumpster fire.Harmonization of RBA and FAS makes no sense. They are not the same role and should not be treated as such. I imagine a mass exodus from the RBA team with what was just done. Shame on AbbVie!
