Welcome to the Boots board

Re: Flint, Knoll, Abbott, Good, Bad, and Ugly but very profitable

Ya, you took us out, Synthroid does $500 million this year after 47 years, so where did you take us out? Levoxyl is that old dog thyroid medication from Daniels in Florida, which will have no brand loyalty after all this goes generic. Hell, Flint, Boots, Knoll, Abbott gave away more Syntroid than Levoxyl ever sold. Plus Daniels, King, Monarch was always just the Triple AAA team for the Major League cast offs. Guess your ass got canned and you went to the minors.

Re: Flint, Knoll, Abbott, Good, Bad, and Ugly but very profitable

Connie Trump is at Abbott working in Headquarters. I hear she's a real ball buster. Her team hates her.

Connie is great

Hey, I have known Connie for 25 years, and if "her team" hates her, its because their not working hard. You work hard, and Connie treats you like solid gold. You don't work, and screw around, she will make your life miserable. I chose to work hard, and she treated me fantastic, as many other people I have known since that have worked for her. "Her Team" and 30 years in the pharma business should tell you something? She gets results, and knows the thought leaders in Endocrinology better than any single person in the pharma business in the United States. Connie lives in the north suburbs in a multi million dollar house, and it ain't Donald Trumps money, its Connie's, the school teacher turned drup rep back in the mid seventies. Better get on the stick and get busy, or she will can your ass. One great manager, try to learn from her, you will go far, try to fight her, you will go away.

Re: Johnny Rucker and Don Anderson

Come on people, some of you old Boots poops must remember Johnny Rucker and Don Anderson. They were there when Boots bought Rucker. Remember Ruvert and Rutuss?

What happened to that smug regional director Grant Bogle?

hope that snide little turd is filling slurpee cups somewhere, it would stretch his talent base but would be appropriate. spent time in that jackwad's region. he was definitely good at spurring the good talent to run for the doors, gotta give him that. i'm amused by the board and the fact that ex-Boots people are posting. awesome. freaking loved that company in the early 90s before Bogle and people like him felt compelled to turn something special into their own little psychological experiment. how about that fake ass Dean Payne? anyone?....Bueller?...anyone?

Re: Ex Boots Rep

Cant' believe there is a Levoxyl rep that says they took us out! Last I saw, Synthroid still has the vast chunk of the market 8 months post generic and many years post levoxyl. Fuck you Levoxyl! Your product won't even be made in a couple of years, Synthroid will always be stocked and sold everywhere, beeeeatch.

Re: Ex Boots Rep

Worked in the West for the best DM ever, Vivien Horwood. I have the utmost respect for her and for the Western Regional Manager John Walsh. I am honored to have represented Boots from 1989-1993 and to have worked for Vivien and John. Great memories at National Sales Meetings, Hong Kong, ect. Steve, Steve and Sue...you were great fun to have in the same District. What ever happened to Glen Mahler? Wish you all well.

Re: Flint, Knoll, Abbott, Good, Bad, and Ugly.

I think Ray Falcon threw a few of us under the bus when the Flint deal took place!! He loved Randy McKee, who made life hell for many a rep.

Randy McKee was a total prick. His protege- Robert Pearson- wasn't much better! Never had a beef w/Falcon. He always treated me well
