No offense taken. I was somewhat amused at the hair pulling contest between Vag and the other poster. Better to remain neutral and let it extinguish itself. There are going to be personality clashes on this board just like in real life. As a youngster I was taught to stay out of other's quarrels. I suggest that we keep our personal opinions of other posters off this board. If you want to trash each other go to the poli board.

Pale and I got something in common. We both served in the military. And, as you know, there are perceived rivalries between the military branches. I served at a place where all 4 branches worked together. Friday and Saturday nights at the enlisted club was something to behold. Toward the end of the night the bands would alway play the 4 military songs. During the Army and Airforce songs a couple people would clap and that was it. During the navy song a couple drunk sailors would head of the dance floor and do the wild thing. The last tune was always the Marine Hymn. Every Marine in the house would jump up on top of their respective tables, scream, shout and perform human gyrations that I previously thought were physicially impossible. My army buddies and me would look at each other and just roll our eyes. You see, if someone disparaged the US Army we would generally agree with them. FTA (Fuck the Army) was one of the most popular acronyms among us soldiers. We could never understand why anybody would be so proud to be a part of any government organization. We speculated that they were drugged or got brain implants in basic. Whatever. All of us had the same basic mission. To break and destroy things. And I can't honestly say that I ever took any real pride in that. I guess I had what they referred to as an 'attitude problem'. Oh well. But I always liked the Marines. If you got them off the subject of Marine stuff they were all pretty good guys.

About Boise - those boys just pummeled Colorado State 63-13. Kellen went 26 for 30 for 338 yards. Total offensive yards = 742 yards. heh. And the starters only played 3 quarters of ball. The scrubs played the entire 4th quarter! Boise is a farking machine. Put them against Alabama or LSU and you would have one terrific ballgame. Boise belongs in the national playoffs. Next year they might not be so strong. But in 2011/12 they are CHAMPIONSHIP material - and there's not a scintilla of doubt about that.

I am disappointed in your attitude toward the Feds running the State of Alabama. It YOU folks who finance the educations for illegal indigents with YOUR taxdollars. It's YOUR children who get stunted educations because certain allowances must be made for illegal indigents in the classroom. I was watching the BCS Bowl ESPN show last night and if Boise was to line up in a bowl I think ESPN said they would match up right now with Oklahoma State. Oklahoma State is a damn good team this year. That would be an awesome game but it would be a better game if Boise matched up with Bama or LSU.

Nah, Boise deserves a shot at the Crimson Tide or LSU. Like I said - Boise will not have such a powerhouse team in 2012/13. They deserve a shot this year while at the top of their game.
