I've never seen more worthless "leadership" than at Novartis. All they know how to do is manage by metrics. Nobody ever talks about sales. The RD in the south never even communicates with the sales force. It's ridiculous. Get rid of all the overpaid dead weight. Please!

Couldn't agree more! The RD in the North is useless. Has no relationships with KOL's. We haven't heard from her since she tried to hype us all up with that ridiculous "retention" bonus we will never see. Not a single ounce of communication from her for months. My ABL is equally useless. He only focuses on metrics and the number of ride days he can accumulate so he can check a box.

NM needs to go! She’s terrible. Never responds to Dr emails until now she’s put under the fire that she should actually be doing her job? I don’t feel the least bit bad for that woman. Empty promises. Cripes
 






The company will not be successful if Novartis management is allowed too manage the Novartis way. It is difficult to see how that would work. B and L is different in a positive sense. Most will have a hard time withdrawing from their past management style. It will be simple to see who is Novartis management.

the abls I know are still following the direction dm and tl gave them lol
 






Reps from other NVS teams I know confirmed that many of their ABLs and also including mine, are still operating like nvs demanded. Lots of unnecessary field rides bringing no value to the table. Big focus on metrics metrics metrics! Leading with fear and scare tactics. I hope this ends soon and B&L cuts the dead weight.
 






My ABL is useless. Never responds to any questions our team has, but as soon as he needs something he demands it immediately. There’s literally no need for him to be riding with us this much a month before we find out if we will even have jobs. I would prefer him to take us to lunch and help us come up with useful strategic business plans to implement from now through year end.

There is a reason that xiidra took a nose dive after Novartis bought it and its not the reps that were selling it. That company couldn’t screw in a light bulb without messing it up.
