I want 100% believe that we all are eating man ass. we're all stupid asses for staying in the pharmaceutical industry, whether it's a start up which is tons of risk and usually not a good outcome or what you expected, or staying here, or going to another Pharma company. All three choices are stupid. Its a stupid ass game of nonsense anymore these days. My next move is out of this shit ass joke of a job. Maybe we all should start looking for jobs where we actually are worth something and not looked upon as a joke. Now maybe that will lead us into an actually "intelligent conversation".
 






I can't argue your point but call me naïve, I still believe that this job can bring value and can be done ethically. We are surrounded by wolves, cheats, liars and crooks but it provides an opportunity to differentiate yourself in the market. If physicians were perfect and all knowing, they wouldn't need us. Unfortunately, they are not and we can help them make better, more informed choices for patients. I just don't want to do it here anymore. I've made too many excuses for this company already and I can't keep doing it. I will take my barely in tact reputation elsewhere in the industry and try to squeeze another 10 years out of this mess. Closing note... I've never seen this level of leadership propaganda on cafe pharma in my career. More evidence the ship is sinking.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I believe of course there is a need for people like us, but this company is the epitome of unethical. I too have made too many excuses in my mind, but all you have to do is get to know the leaders of this organization and everything becomes clear again.

The problem with reps in this company is that they think they are entitled to something. Most of them think they are life savers and everyone should bow down to them. When in reality most of them are loser big pharma rejects that have no where else to turn.

It's good to see there are a few that understand their role like the above poster.

Mallinckrodt is cancer and is killing the peoples reputation that work for them.

what is with all the emotion and over thinking. Stop thinking about the past and see reality for what it is. We have a shitty job and the bosses want lots of revenue but dont know how to get it minus price increases. That is it.

Was Panera on time today? Did you get a chance to have the Bacon Turkey Bravo? or did the fat nasty receptionist beat you to it? Did the Ortho doc tell you that he would use Ofirmev but the hospital won't let him? Did you ask him to request it? Did you show him the study about the 6 residents that shoved tylenol up their asses? Did he like the IVA?

Actually had a great day at work, collected my share of my mid 6 figure income for the day, was home by 2pm, banged my supermodel girlfriend and her friend, smoked a joint, drank Macallum 21 year (Special order), ate a 48oz prime rib, smoked a cuban cigar, banged my supermodel girlfriend again, watched the flintstones (that crazy fred flintstone) then passed out on my king sized sleep number bed as my supermodel girlfriend went down on her supermodel girlfriend.
