Vote on who should be the head of TG in the US!

Nobody from within this company - too many people were hired for jobs without experience. It's hard to have a successful start up and you need someone who has done it before, in ophthalmology and even better retina. All you named are good people just wrong for the job.

RP and KS are good people? No, sir!

There is not one person in this upper management team that can turn this around. Very sad but true. If they are looking outside of the company it would benefit us all for HR to really vet all candidates because when they don't do their jobs the current team is what you get....JS was not a sales leader but most likely OK in marketing. MS was not a trainer either. If you really look back at the launch meeting it was so obvious. RP said his job was done...WHAT?
Now we have the interim head of TG on the medical side. Does PDH understand that in order to move this company forward all these "heads" have to report to one qualified person?...then (and only then) will decisions be made and political "stand-offs" quelled.
BTW what does DP do?
If I were king of TG I would place PH in the position of National Sales Director...just look at her feedback forms...she knows how to motivate her teams and problem solve....Oh, that's right you can't ........she's a woman.

we have a crappy HR department

HR is an issue not doubt but there are bigger issues with TG!

Here are some of our HR issues.
• Gossip starters
• Leaks of private information
• Failing to deliver clear salary, benefits and job information
• Forgetting to follow up
• Lack of recognition and rewards
• Not creating or being able to write clear and thorough policies
• Failing to confront rule breakers and unproductive employees while being one at the same time
• Unable to facilitate employee issues
• Not applying policies to your own team
• Delivering bad and false news via email
• Playing favorites
• Excessive or inappropriate joking

I agree with the list. It would help to have a functional HR team. They lead and cause half the problems in the office. Leah with her two hour lunches and Al let's this go and shuts his door to pretend he is busy and pretends he has no idea which is really the reality.

there was a candidate that came in for an interview, and HR wasn't there to greet them, and they had forgotten to contact the manager to let him know when the interview was. absurd first impressions.

spends a lot of time behind closed door with ZA

if it was only just HR as the problem! so much worse then just HR!

HR is right up there with MAJOR company issues, don't try and look the other way, because that is what their boss does. It's a critical issue and if we had a real management team, something would actually be done about it. Instead they look the other way, seems like your style too.

Dysfunction is how they're described, HR should be a company core group, how can the company be a success if that part is useless. Just like with previous "rom" and how he wasn't the right person. He had to be replaced in order for the company to try and fix the damage. HR is a dysfunctional damage! We need a better department. There is no chance on helping them improve, they just don't have the experience and frankly they are an embarrassment! !
