Let’s start with the definition:
Virtue signalling is a pejorative neologism for when one expresses a morally disingenuous viewpoint with the intent of communicating good character.

Sound like anyone here? I was going to post in the D&I thread but this topic deserves it’s own thread. Why don’t we discuss if anyone at Genentech virtual signals. I’ll start.

Asian Hate Crimes and the need for workshops and classes supporting our brothers and sisters due to rampant Asian hate crimes all over the Country. Let’s take a closer look shall we?

US Population - over 320,000,000 million people
2019 Asian Hate Crimes 49
2020 Asian Hate Crimes: 122
 






What a load of crap. The number of Asian hate crimes reported from March 2020-Feb 2021 was ~3,600. And those are only the ones that are reported. Moreover, how many is enough for you? Do you need to see 50K? I'm sure there have been at least that number considering how many people would not report it to authorities.

Stand Your Ground, Asians. We have always been supportive of other groups. But we find out, when it comes to Asian Discrimination. It’s not taken seriously. I Blake the Democrats for their decisive ways with race and gender.
 






There is bad people doing bad things, some of it racially motivated.. your live american and can legally defend yourself, but be really smart about it..don’t count on the police to rush to your defense time. This message is color blind!!

Genentech has lost it’s way. We see more long term employees in leadership positions abandoning ship. It’s quite sad.
 






Any sensible leaders would want to leave. This is no longer a viable place for smart people to continue their career. They stay only because they don't have an option to go else where.
 
























I am guessing we have a couple snowflake english professors moonlighting as pharma reps..lets see what the response is when a bunch of minority kill each other?? Just like the Syrian mass murder or the serial killers in Chicago killing African Americans.

Yes yes, let's blame the Democrats because of course the other major party has been such a great supporter of minority rights and is definitely not filled with a bunch of racist morons.

Yes and yes. It’s the Democrats who been playing identity politics all this time that the Republicans have been lesser evil of the two parties. It doesn’t take a genius to determine the Democrats have changed their ways as well as what the Republicans use to be. Remember free will? With manipulated news media that the Democrat offers. Is not to far off from what Cuba offers.
 






The report from Atlanta is that is was not a hate crime against Asian Americans, I guess nobody counts the white people that were killed in the same crime scene, doesn’t fit the narrative. And in the last few days, there have been several incidents of Black on Asian crime, full on public assaults in broad daylight, and theses offenders didn’t look like Trump supporters, so take that political BS somewhere else to peddle.
 


















Asian Lives Matter! Genentech is one of the most racist companies out there that promotes Anti-Asian attitudes. There a plenty of Asians at Genentech with less promotion to management. How is that? How are these slick mother effects who aren’t Asian getting promoted to these positions. It usuals white or an affirmative action blacks. Or maybe you need to be alphabet. Pathetic place.
