Vertex Therapeutic Specialist salary question

I know I will probably get lots of answers from many of you trying to be funny, but I am seriously trying to find out if anyone knows anything about the starting salary/bonus structure being offered for the Therapeutic Specialist position for Vertex.

Vertex doesn't have a board on here that I can find and I have been unable to find this info out anywhere else... Figured I would post the question here since I know some of the Gilead employees have gone over to Vertex or have at least interviewed with them.

Not so true. A town hall meeting is scheduled for the day after Cadence makes an announcement and a retention bonus (I know, they think it fools everyone if they call it a KICKER) is to be payed out at the end of they year all with the hopes of preventing an exodus to Cadence or Intermune (before the disaster happened at the beginning of the year). It might plug a few holes in the dam.

Was anything put in place to retain HIV or Hep B from a Vertex jump? Just a bunch of fear. It will be shocking to see the talent that leaves over the next few months. The emperor has new clothes...let the Exodus begin...

I consider the strategic scheduling of the Town Hall Meeting a parting gift. Be happy for the good fortune of those who don't have to listen to 3 bumbling fools stumble through a scripted hour of bullshit.

We in Virology are in favor of all of you MAL contents leaving ASAP, better yet, since you know better why don't you start up you own pharma company bc to date our investment on return for PAH is terrible.

This post is correct for a TS position although $120K doesn't come easy unless you are within 10% of that coming into negotiations. If you are good and yet well below $120K, you may be able to negotiate close to $120K but you will also get a microscope that goes with it. This is a two year gig though...this market is going to get crowded very quickly and I promise you, Vertex will be nowhere close to the top 5 years down the road. If you desperately need a job, take it. Otherwise, think very carefully before making that jump.
