Anyone still selling versajet or just the last remaining distributors? Have an opportunity to sub rep the product, but not sure what the real opportunity is for the amount of time i have to invest. I heard that corporate has all but left the product for dead. Can a rep still make any real money selling this?

Versajet just like any product overseen by French and BA is going down. Has exceeded it's price value and is creating inelasticity of demand. Burn and trauma centers are being mor careful when to use a $500 hand piece for 2 minutes of Debridement. They will use on the big stuff but utilization is way off. Also, there is a new competitor at half the cost. Of course, knowing that there is competition, French Fry and BA will raise the price to $650 per hand piece. These 2 are truly marketing and brand recognition marvels.

It is also vastly inferior to the Misonix product...

Versajet is finished. It was a good product 10 years ago and there was a lot of excitement and interest in it from doctors because it worked. S&N had a direct sales force and sales were going well for while. Then control was handed to the same guys who brought you NPWT and surprisingly they failed to invest in badly needed improvements or cost savings.
All the smart guys left and the better ones went to Misonix.

Can you guess which product is growing ?

Marc, is that you?

VJ is dead. accounts are quickly moving to the new technology. VJ distributors have all but dropped this dust collector of a system. Remaining ones are sticking around to suck off the last commission dollar they can from this sinking technology. smart ones are already making moves to try and line up a deal with Misonix.

So who is replacing Pat? Replace from within or find another sucker from the outside? Or just bleed off the last of the incoming cash from the business and not make any replacement?

The current regime has gone mad. Reps spend months trying to get placement agreements signed. The regional managers are basically carrying out marching order from the cast of clowns in charge. The basic business model is chopping up territories or replacing tenured distributors. S&N has no real interest in listening to or getting real feedback from the field. There is a safety cover up with the product. There is more bureaucracy than the California DMV.
