I got the $29,000 relocation package 4 years ago and almost a 100% foregiveness to this when I got riffed. These cost are imbedded into ARI along with the salary premiums that
are currently perpetuated year over year. The production cost will always be very high no matter how lean they try to get that site.

How is this possible? Some had to pay this back on the big RIF?

Only a true idiot would pay a dime back to Amgen if they were part of the RIF. Now you know why you were RIF'd. Your manager knew you were an idiot and would pay back relo costs...this type of stupidity should be the main criteria for future RIF's. It is one way Amgen can make money from a RIF.

Vectibix and Enbrel sales will be half of what they are today in three years. ARI will be shut down before then and its few dwindling products will be outsourced.

Our weekend manager told us that 21% of Enbrel expires and get destroyed. Is this added into COGS?

Hire more directors

I think if they fired 80 managers and x-managers still making managers pay then
it will cause many of the ARI rats to leave on thier own when they see that there is no chance of advancements by ratting up the ladder, it will no longer be an option.

Amgen is under department of justice investigation for illegal criminal and civil acts. They have some serious problems going on. They may be able to treat us employees like shit, However, I don't think they are going to push around the government. Every illegal and unethical act is going to come back to them. Amgen is a cesspool of eggregious corporate behavior starting at the top. Look how much KS makes And how bad they treat us. They can lie and make stuff up about you just to get you fired. They don't care either because they know the arbitration is bullshit and employees have no recourse. Maybe the possibility of Jailtime will change a few behaviors around here. This is all in the public filings and it's not pretty. You can't keep treating people like shit and expect good results.
