VBU - Bonus Structure is exactly how they planned

Wise move and all the best to you at the new company. You won’t miss GSK no matter what.

GSK VBU could give a shit if good reps leave. They figure one less mouth to feed because most vaccines will not be filled. Need to trim any excess so the sale to another company will look good on the books.
Congrats on getting out, many others need take your lead.
Good luck to those who stay around on this sinking ship.

100 percent correct. They don’t care. GSK is silently forcing reps out. How you ask? Giving you a bad rating when you don’t deserve it. Passing you up for opportunities. Making other people full line a when they don’t deserve it. Acting like Covid doesn’t excite and blaming you for your territory not returning back to normal. Micromanaging the hell out of you to the point you will want to leave and find another job. The list goes on and on.

And to the point, other pharmaceutical companies don't treat their reps like this.

Hells yeah! How they gonna act like Covid doesn't excite

My manager in the VBU said Kim S. told her that you do whatever it takes to hit your sales goals.
Isn't a mentality like that what caused the creation of Patient First and 3 billion in fines and potential loss of revenue from CMS because we would have been banned from doing business with them?

Correct. Sadly, our leadership is morally bankrupt and will do anything to get theirs. Greed and incompetence=. Current state of gsk leadership. Embarrassed to work for such a loser company

pretty hard to sell vaccines off label....a little something called ACIP prevents that! Probably meant “do what you need to do to get reps off their asses and out Into the field”.

A couple of my colleagues sell Bexsero way off label vs Trumemba as well as pregnancy of boostrix vs adacel. You'd be amazed how hard the mangers push the off label differences. OMG, with Menveo vs menactra we are trained to sell the outcomes benefits when in fact there are not any. Then we are showing customers the benefit of contract pricing vs competitors. What a joke. We show pricing vs a price point that no one in most instances pays. Smoke and mirrors. Eventually if not already, customers are aware GSK screws you over.

Folks, the VBU is just as dirty as any other GSK division because the same manager tactics are employed in every division. One size fits all, that is what has led this company's sales divisions into a state of total B.S.
This is why the corporate raiders have swoon upon GSK because of mismanagement. GSK pharmaceuticals will be sold off in parcels over the next 3 years. Good luck.
Ema will control the over the consumer health division. It will remain intact.
The Roman Empire fell, GSK was nothing compared to the Roman but it will fall just as sure as the sun rises.

based on the current financials with sales declining, profits need to grow. Given that, aside from reducing head count to increase profit bonuses will be payout less over the next 2-3 years until the division is sold. Get out now or get out to late and be screwed.
