Vascepa Weekly Script Numbers Is Embarrassing

Bullshite and you know it! There is absolutely no excuse for the “average” weekly scripts coming through. PIPS need to be handed out left and right. Imagine what the Pfizer or Merck Muscle could do with a Gamechanger like this. A waste of money on this 80” rep expansion!!!!
Pip everyone this place blows

Here’s what’s going on! Patients with diabetes and cardiovascular disease are on many, many medications. Because they refill heavily in December because they have met their deductible, prescriptions in January tend to look lower! Chicken little, the sky isn’t falling!
That is happening...yes. However, we have lost big plans in 2020, Cigna and Optum to name a couple. Add in BCBS in key states and still no coverage for the RI patient on UHC and who the heck cares about a deductible? The plan won’t even let the patient get that far! Offices are under water on PAs, denials and appeals for a drug that should be a slam dunk. There has to be a reason that we aren’t negotiating with the plans to get on formularies. Until we start negotiating, we can enjoy being beat up every single day by frustrated offices trying to do the right thing for their patients and getting no where, and tiny bonuses for the sales force unless you’re in a very low volume territory growing from 20 to 25 TRxs/week.

This is absolutely the problem. Coverage hinders growth, its not the script growth that's embarrassing, its the coverage. We have lost key Medicare plans where we previously enjoyed exclusive, preferred coverage. Medicare patients will not, as a rule, pay 100 a month for a maintenance medication. Coverage has to improve!!
