This isn’t true at all. Pay will probably increase, but less roles available. You will reinterview for your old job now paying 50% less. Hopefully all managers will be fired. They produce nothing

Have individuals already been told they’re being laid off? Has an official plan for the reorganization been announced by the company or just the unnamed spokesperson that spoke to the media?
It’s never been like that in vaccines. We’ve always run very lean. Reps carry a heavy bag with 3-4 quota products (not counting 5+ additional products they don’t pay us for but we do all the work to sell them…) and no double coverage. They are burning it to the ground hoping for a phoenix to rise from the ashes. I have a bad feeling that things will get worse before they get better.I missed this. When and where did someone go to the media?
And no one is told they're going to be laid off. Sometimes it's completely out of the blue. But there's also always hints here and there where you can see it coming. No one is safe when there's new leadership. That's all of pharma though.

Company policy is that priority is given to anyone that isn’t a white male. Also, supposedly all vaccine sales reps were terminated so not sure what you’re interviewing for.I am an external candidate interviewing for a vaccine territory opening. Wondering how much priority is put on internal vs external candidates. Please don't jump down my throat for asking. Thank you.

Actually no. Vaccine reps have historically been very underpaid compared to industry standards. Supposedly the reason they had to lay everyone off and people have to reinterview is because they are leveling up the position to where it should be and this was the only way to do it, supposedly. The job will not be like a typical pharma job. It’s much harder in many ways. Especially with this shake up.Thanks for answering my question and not jumping down my throat. My interview went well. The reps that were laid off must have been making very high salaries, because the recruiter told me the salary range and it was very fair. After initial interview with an internal recruiter, does anyone have an idea how long the rest of the process takes? Thanks again for not jumping all over me for asking. I've been in the shoes of the vaccine reps before, so I know how much it sucks! I thought it was interesting that the rep who was in the geography that I interviewed for is not interviewing for his/her old job.

$20 per hourwhat was the salary range they quoted.
Hopefully all DMs. Use lessJust sales: reps, DM’s, RSD’s and C4

much higher,140k+ for base salary for external hires.
Does this sound comparable to salaries before the layoff?
Good to know. I was told 100k was starting base salary and 140 was about midrange. So they must be going much higher than that.much higher,
Ha. Nope. And they aren’t paying internal hires that were retained 140. Leave it to Sanofi vax to continue to take advantage of their loyal employees that stuck with them through the shit show.140k+ for base salary for external hires.
