Relax and look at this for what it is.

apokyn has been “for sale” for years and no one bit because it is a pain in the ass and there is no growth.

this is a revenue plug to bridge the gap.

the only way it makes sense is to cut costs associated with their promotion.

some reps will come over, some won’t and some that were offered will decline or quit soon after.

As for Cafe Karen, I’m sorry to say she will still have to do zoom video calls and ride with her manager.

Amen. I have known several USWM reps, and you can’t call them brats or Enterprise reps or any of the other belittling names upper mgmt uses for us. These are seasoned reps with a lot of experience. Can’t wait to see how they react to their salaries being cut and being micromanaged to death.

I agree with this assessment. This isn't ground breaking at all but just a combination of 4 meds that hopefully help us get to the next TXR.
 












These products virtually have no patent left and did 150 mil last year so they are at the end of their lifecycle and only doing 150 mil? Everyone knows you don’t promote a product right up to the end of patent date. Everyone take a good look at these products. We bought Xadago for $300 mil and a $230 mil option for the one in the pipeline. The other two just came with it. Maybe it will work out maybe it won’t but for the people saying this is game changing for the company. Give us all a break and look at the facts for once in your life and don’t blindly follow what your boss is spewing

Just to add I think supernus gets the 4th med too and they have to pay 230 mil in milestone royalty payments. Still doesn't change a ton. They paid 6x current profit and these drugs have minimal life left in terms of patent.

Nobody is saying you should take upper managements word as gospel. Those of us who defend them here do so because we respect their experience, competence, and ethics. You are certainly entitled to feel differently, but then that makes you a fool for sticking with a company you don’t trust or believe in. Sure every move has a positive spin. That’s their job as leaders of a public company. It’s not, however, your job to second guess, contradict, and downplay every move that is made.
