URL jobs ending in June













Quintiles may get a 60 day notice and then you my friends will only get a 30 day notice from Quintiles. This is how they normally operate. You are just a way to make them money, nothing more. Be active in your job search now, there are a whole lot of people who are "casualties" from Quintiles that would agree with me.

This poster is ABSOLUTELY SPOT ON!!! Glad someone has their brain engaged. Quintiles has already gotten the 60 day notice for contract termination... We are not looking at 60 + 60. We are looking at June 1 people. Get your resume updated!

I hope you are wrong. Nothing out here right now. Not saying there wont be just saying its not going to be that quick.
 






Does anyone know why Quintiles basically needed our resumes and awards today? Was that for Takeda, a new contract, or just one managers strategy for keeping us hoping? Did all managers ask all employees for their stats? This puzzle is a mess and unless we use the board to figure it out then we are wasting our time reading garbage!

COME ON!!!! THINK ABOUT IT...if they were going to keep the salesforce they would tell us!! They wouldnt want people to jump ship you would know your jobs were safe. Its just to keep you bringing in better numbers because it was leaked out as public knowledge.

Is Quintiles meeting with URL to get paid to end contract early?
Is URL/Quintiles meeting with Takeda to show the value that the URL reps would bring to Takeda?

Every position associated with the Branded products from URL are contracted from what we have been told. That is 500 people out of work if calculations are correct!

They may be working to sell you as a team to another contract. There could be some openings in territories and Takeda may look to roll some of you in. Then again, it is Quintiles, you are screwed and in the dark till the end.

I don't know the circumstances but they have asked for this information before for other contracts that were going to be canceled. I don't know this firsthand but my counterpart said it was asked on a previous contract he was on. Common sense says its not for nothing or an agenda.

Was that an answer? Maybe my common sense is not kicking in... or someone drank the koolaid.
 






How many URL reps really want to work for Takeda directly? At the very least Quintiles "may" hire layoffs onto another contract. You are always more attractive when employed.

No, I am ranked high and did not get an email from Quintiles for resume or anything else. They already have our resume and they know our numbers. Was the email from your manager or regional? If so, play on playa because it most likely is a ploy to keep you working. I am still working because I knew this was a contract deal with a start and an end. I just wish we had honesty mixed in there somewhere from Quintiles. I will be moving on for sure, this unstable job is giving me worry wrinkles.
 






There was no email, managers were contacting the team via phone/text asking about previous presidents club wins, current wins, and resumes. it is all very very sketchy to me!

There are FOUR Takeda reps in the territory I currently work in. Met one at an office and she had no idea what is going on w URL, but reminded me kindly that they just had layoffs and have a product going generic in a few months.

Hate to be the negative nancy in the situation, but realistically...we are all screwed.
