Everyone at Biogen ponders if they will have a job or not going into January 2022. It has been a very tough year. Here is hoping Biogen at least does one thing right by properly treating their loyal employees well and taking care of them in a generous fashion. It is the right thing to do.

Is the right thing to do the *best* thing to do for Biogen strategically? Probably not. The company cares more about making scientific progress than its employee's personal and professional development.
 




Biogen is under the microscope now. Employees are being interviewed through various sources. If they treat the employees poorly, this will further tarnish their reputation to the outside world. All eyes are now ready to see what they will do.
 




















Not sure what the new formula will be, but I got 2 weeks for every year of service. There was also guardrails put in place with some stipulations that were very vague, but the key one was severance being capped at 17 weeks pay no matter your tenure.

I hope you are wrong as that is pathetic. Thankfully with the WARN act, they have to hit minimums. If they end up giving terrible packages, it will serve them right it is leaked to the press.
