Turning us into Merial

If you are not from human Pharma you will never get employment at this company, which might be opening investors to potential legal EEOC action that will affect stock price.

DSR here. Love Virbac.
Besides your new salesperson that was hired with no Veterinary experience and no product knowledge.
If I have to hear how well you did somewhere else selling SSRI's again? That is irrelevant and before telling Vets that Ivermectin kills tapeworms.
Thanks.

Be careful out here
"Heard of a new company stiffing vets again today, JMC Supply out of Florida. Guy got stiffed $85,000, 1800PETMEDS is direct now. So if you are going to divert. A couple of my Florida doctors can give you the names."

Does NOT promote from within. Hired all new managers all from outside. Internal candidates "need not apply". None of us were given interviews, not even after 5+ years of service and awards.
Human pharma reps are the common hires. No product knowledge.

Agree, Do not apply for any Virbac territory unless you are prepared to never be looked at for internal career advancement.
Regardless of performance. Interview candidates told otherwise have been lied to.

I am a new territory sales manager and recently completed all deep dive.
Even though I did come from human pharma, and have been with Virbac less than 1 year.
I now know that I know everything about this industry anyways selling the science is unnecessary.
I also was be promoted within 1 year.

Lots of good sales reps would make terrible managers. While a skilled salesperson can reach their personal sales goals that same person could be terrible at leading a team. Human Pharma tends to attract the better reps and leaders. So it stands to reason that Virbac would want to hire good leaders from Human Pharma if they are able to do so. I think a few reps here are just pissed that Virbac decided to upgrade their talent rather then promote a mediocre leader based on years of service. In fact, why do you think Virbac looked to hire from the outside in the first place? Do you feel they dislike you personally and would rather spend more money to hire from the outside rather then promote you. Yeah, that's a likely story.
