Truth about cologuard - know this before assuming cologuard is your gold standard.

Here we go again. Follow the bouncing ball…

If everyone would be compliant and go get a colonoscopy, then GI doctors like Dr. Ahlquist and the other GI’s at the Mayo Clinic wouldn’t have had to develop Cologuard.

News flash to the GI’s at the GCSA in TX… COLOGUARD WAS DEVELOPED BY GI DOCTORS!!!!

READ THAT AGAIN:

COLOGUARD WAS DEVELOPED BY GI DOCTORS!!!

One more time for the cheap seats:

COLOGUARD WAS DEVELOPED BY GI DOCTORS!!!

A colonoscopy is only 95% sensitive! CG is 92% (stage 1-4) and 94% (stage 1-2) sensitive.

Why does the GCSA support the use of FIT in their guidelines but not CG when polyp detection is clearly better?

Why do GI’s continue to increase their usage of CG?

We await your response…
If you are saying that colonoscopy is 95% sensitive then you can’t say that cologuard is 92% sensitive. In our pivotal trial CG detected 92% of the cancers detected by colonoscopy. Do we know for certain that colonoscopy didn’t miss any cancer in that trial? If colonoscopy did miss cancer than CG sensitivity is not as high as touted. I’m surprised ES is allowed to make that efficacy claim without a big asterisk.

Dude who cares? LOL this is a job. That’s it.

Get paid decent money to do a pretty easy gig. I do not have a Cologuard tattoo and do not live & breathe ES. I go to work, do my job, come home, & live. Get over it.

This must be how someone reacts when they can’t understand concepts beyond their ABCs

Dear Lord how do we hire people that don’t understand the “pivotal trial”?

Go ask medical affairs to explain it to you so you don’t misrepresent the study to a doctor!

Are we still pushing the concept of choice or what? Sorry for the late reply, haven't really been working for the last few months! Super stoked for NSM though! Can't wait to see 24 year olds in tight pants and the CONman himself pitch his political agenda for 2k23

Need pictures of the 24 year olds in tight pants so that I can share with the ladies what not to wear.
