Toujeo vs Tresiba

Absorption you say? You wouldn't happen to be hinting about variability would you? I am thoroughly enjoying debunking your claim of a decent coefficient of variability by explaining your bogus methodology of arriving at such as compared to the well established gold standard of the glucose clamp study. I will state this for you in simple terms. You are inferior.
O.M.G!! Are you really trying to convince a competitor (on this site) that our med is superior to theirs?
You're a buffoon. Please tell me that you're a troll.

This is the by far stupidest post. 1/2 life wrong, variability same, coverage (total bs), copay program (Toujeo wins hands down) 56 days vs 42 no issue. Cost of the no advantage U-200, priceless. You guys are morons. Love watching you dbag novo reps begging for 1 rx a week while giving a reach around. Don't forget to pay every doc in sight before you leave!

How do you have time to respond to Novo trolls? Wouldn't your time be better spent updating your resume?

So, if I squeeze 5 lbs of shit into a 3lb bag, isn't it still the same shit, just in concentrated form?

You don't understand the mechanism of action and how glargine precipitates compared to Lantus and compared to Levemir and Tresiba. And I'm not going to explain it to you here, but there is a completely different pkpd profile associated with Toujeo over Lantus that provides a benefit over Lantus. In fairness, Tresiba is not that different from Toujeo but it cost a shit ton more and Novo is tanking their reputation selling Tresiba off label as an every other day insulin. Something doctors are taking note of.

I've noticed the difference in PK/PD, especially after Sanofi ran that study that showed, after all these years, Lantus wasn't really flat, nor did it last 24 hrs. Crazy, huh?

But, we all know Toujeo is Lantus and Lantus is Toujeo - MOA is the same; it's just concentrated. And, again, 5 lbs of shit in a 3 lb bag is still the same old shit, no matter how you package it. Spin away!

You kinda just proved my point by admiting Toujeo is different than Lantus and that compared to Lantus Toujeo is even flatter. Levemir came no where close to the duration or flatness of Lantus at equal doses which is why it was indicated BID. Nobody is disputing that Toujeo is also glargine. It's an improved version. If it was just concentrated you wouldn't see a difference in duration and likely more hypo. The studies say the opposite. So while it is glargine, it performs differently. You don't have to like the product and until there is a head to head with Tresiba we won't know if there is any real difference despite what you guys tell the doctors. But the Tresiba label is almost identical to Toujeo. The doctors aren't impressed with your glargine is glargine line (especially endocrinologist). It just shows them you don't know what you are talking about.

Dream on. Of course the medical community is impressed. Watch and learn as the numbers roll in.

Seriously - go sell that line of crap to doctors. PLEASE!! PLEASE!! PLEASE!! You make my life so easy sometimes :)

BOTH of you idiots are an embarrassment to the industry. Two drug reps bitch-fighting about their drugs on cafepharma is ...well, I've already wasted too much time.

Yes...show how idiotic they are for commenting on CP by commenting yourself and ending with how big a waste of time it is for you. That proves your superiority! Now, let the butthurt commence.

isn't it ironic that you have to use more of the concentrated version compared to the U100 version of Glargine? No big deal you say? It sure was when you were saying the same about Levemir. This is hysterical, the head to head studies are going to roll in and make Lantus II look like the dud that it is. You are inferior. The giant iron fist that is Novo shall beat you into submission. Tick tock, tick tock...

Seriously, why don't you two 3rd graders PM each other and agree to fight behind the swing set? You are not going to convince a Novo rep that Toujeo is better than what they're peddling this week. Just as they are not going to persuade you that Tresiba is better, faster acting, has less AEs' whatever.
I can't believe what I am seeing!

I completely agree.

Save it for the field, children.

Looks like we got a couple more of you to join in at the swing set and yell "Fight, fight, fight!"

Thanks for being the CP police and telling what we should and shouldn't post - didn't realize that we had hall monitors in here. Here's a crazy idea: don't read it and don't respond to it. But, I'm going to post b/c I'll sure as hell never let some Novo rep come on here and disrespect me and my drug. You cross MY path, and you're going to get fried, especially in a clinical conversation. Back off - you don't want any part of me or Toujeo. Trust me, I'll make you look dumb. Holla!

You're not that clever, Novo skank.
