Tough Decison







Taco Bell is looking to get into this market.

Ha. Thats funny. I think Taco Bell would manage it much better. The video line is decent stuff. Hope the manufacturing quality standards remain in place. It will be a nightmare resolving design problems with manufacturing in Mexico and repair in Largo. Expect product problems to take months to over a year to get resolved for simple things. Could cause tremendous reputation issues and a decrease in the sales force confidence in the product. But why should that be any different than the continued diminish in all other product lines? The endoscopy division is simply being put in step with he rest of the failing.
 






Here is what is going on and in fact it's genius. Manufacturing is moving to Mexico because drug smuggling is much more profitable than not selling cameras. So they're going to pack the hermetically sealed camera heads with cocaine. The sealed camera head contains the odor of the product and it's shipped to the recipient undetected. Brilliant! We should all be rolling in "commissions " soon.

They didn't just move manufacturing to Mexico, they moved to THE deadliest place in Mexico! Wow, great job there! If you were trying to tank the company, you couldn't have planned it better!
 






Anything changed with Linvatec? I'm in a similar position as the OP with a similar 80k job. I am wanting to move into medical device sales but it is a rough field to break into. Any thoughts?
 






actually, this decision shouldn't be too tough. While Linvatec is sort of device company it is far and away the worst choice you could make a start based on their performance in bring our innovative products, management style and treatment of the sales team. Not to mention lack of sales training and support from corporate. With that being said, to answer you question your earning potential would be $ 200,000 down to the point where you want to blow yourself up in a hospital parking lot.
