Immature sales reps are running rampant in this world. If you are a surgeon and are reaing this I hope you see how stupid they are. Do not do business with any rep that is under 35 years old. If you do, the responses above are the maturity level of the reps you will likely see.

Not true. Any doc reading these boards (for all companies) is smart enough to realize that most postings are former or disgruntled employees trying to make their competitors, old bosses, or old companies look stupid. There are plenty of sharp young reps out there (and old ones too, like me) for all companies, and there are plenty of tools as well - young and old - just as in any profession. You are a tird if you think that only someone with 25 years in the business can be successful and of value to their customers. Maybe you should take note of those running circles around you and go work a little harder. And in most cases, it's your younger junior reps who are buttering your bread anyway - why do you want to knock them?

There is a guy in NC that does 6 mil. Usually above that, they become co-distributor.

Zimmer outed, top guys only do 6mil, also only have 6 inch dicks.

I was with Zimmer back in the late 80's when the top rep was in Florida's gulf coast. Millions in sales and huge commisions for that time. He was a great saleman and even better manager of a small team of helpers. He had runners to do deliveries and instrument pick-up's, and some retired reps who could cover cases for him when he was double booked.

Are there still Zimmer reps operating like this today? This fellows operation was busier that some small distributors.
