Too many dinner programs

It's hard enough toget MAs and office staff to fill a few seats at one but the number of programs is unrealistic. Stop wth the stupid metrics! Why don't they listen to us? I don't want my doctors to go and watch the speaker tug at their collar and avoid eye contact when answering if they write viekira and which patients.

Quit complaining and check the box on these. If you're short a person or two just sign in an office staff and take the dinner to go for your significant other. If you don't want your docs to come then invite the staff and keep it light.

The dinner program by its very nature breaks every rule known to Pharma no doctors ever show up it's always office staff or pharmacy techs, a complete waste of time for everyone, days taking out a sales territory to beg people to come to these programs for nothing. FDA if you had a brain you'd make these companies stop these dinner programs completely immediately.

The real motivation behind dinner programs is to find a way to bribe the speakers to use more of the product they are pitching.....Nothing more, nothing less.
Rotten to the core in the ethics department and almost every company pulls this crap.

There is No ROI on speaker programs, when will this madness stop?
They are maybe to pay off the speakers, I had one recently, nobody, nobody showed, I couldn't even get pharmacy techs to come, had 6 registered and they didn't show.
I was embarrassed to be there alone with the speaker who said it didn't matter, he still gets paid and this has happened to him many times. FDA If you really are listening, tell the company to stop this bullshit way of promoting products, it is a compleat waist of time.

You invited pharmacy techs?? Are you freakin kidding me? When was the last time a pharm tech wrote a script? You just as well invited the homeless guys living under the bridge. You would have had better ROI.
Mngt...are you reading this stuff?...Incredible.

They don't read this stuff. That's why we can be honest about the problems with this company.

Even the bribes don't work very well with the V Pak!!
Still only use when they are forced.

I can't even get the receptionists to come to a free dinner. The slides are terrible and the speakers usually say "yes I'm sure we have at least one or two patients on Viekira".

Sadly, pharmacy techs and providers write roughly the same amount of VP.

SHADDUP and DO WHAT YOU ARE TOLD TO DO!! Louie

MEI programs are no good, they take way too much time to get going, the turnout sucks, they are ALL out of compliance and there is NO ROI. We fill them with pharmacy techs or there would be nobody there. Even they need to be begged.
Wake up, stop doing them Management. The DSM say, just burn the money or I'll be in trouble, I can't return the money. What king of nonsense is this anyway?

You don't get it. N Chicago knows these programs are mediocre or even useless. You have to do them so management can cover their butts when the shit hits the fan. "We had the reps do at least 4 dinners a month. They just didn't execute them right".
Now do you understand?
