To those who quit Hepatitis C

Sort of agree, but I am not underestimating the convenience factor and let's face it, the dosing of 3DAA (or 5, whatever) is pretty bizarre, esp. relative to GLDs.

The dosing of 3D is not bizarre, 3 pills in the AM and one in the PM. Most GIs could care less about pill count. Adherence is not an issue with 3D. Read the Sapphire-I NEJM article. The adherence in the study was 98.9%.

How many of us were embarrassed by the lamest video ever that Louis posted and sent in an email today? This guy is so full of himself - he looked ridiculous and it was not amusing...what a waste!

I would rather take the one pill once a day. Sorry, just the way it is. a few moths of taking this regimen is too much considering I have another choice. Sorry, those people in the clinical trial had their hands held. In the real world, most will choose one pill once a day

If Viagra was bid or tid, men would not take it for the effect?

That's a ridiculous argument. This Rx is all about price point and the pass through cost to the patient. Every therapy is touting a viral elimination so good, that it is within the statistical error of the measurement.

No one has superiority. MHC contracting will rule the day.

That was a clinical trial result not REAL WORLD! What a MORON you are and I bet you kiss arises at HQ!! Only chance is deep price discount!

What will this do to the stock price, that's all we care about, screw the patients, they are the means to the end of high stock price so we with options can cash out, dude!

Well said! Agree 100%!

Another crap week in the field! Need to drink heavy and blow some weed tonight!!

Why was it so bad? I actually had a great week! Harvoni uptake is big in some areas but there are many who are not jumping on the bandwagon just yet. Many want the competition and are not sold on the 8 weeks. There will be many failures on the 8 weeks because many will treat low viral loads without checking for cirrhosis (newly diagnosed patients coming in to care).

You are in serious need of a reality check. But once you actually talk to a treater instead of role playing in a mirror with your talking points, the air will be out of your balloon. And I can't wait for you to let HCV treaters know that you are sure they aren't checking for cirrhosis. Which primary care division did you come from?

I downed a 12-pack of Old Style last night! Just got up and feeling a bit nauseous! Just popped open a brew and should be feeling better in 10 minutes. If I don't get out of this situation, I might develop a drinking problem! I am in love with my Gilead rep!!

Have you asked the Gilead rep for a date? Be on the QT because I am sure Louie or Lootzie do not endorse inter-company dating.

Why is the FDA taking so long. Gilead is already out with their second drug. Maybe Ricky boy signed a deal with the FDA that if they reject it, we will "donate" 1 billion dollars to them? That is his style.

My DM said the delay is due to payback for the ritonavir price increase that pissed FDA off. Ritonavir is contraindicated in HCV patients per the label!!! OMG who is running this freak show?
