Re: Time to consider leaving
Im out. Ams is toxic
Im out. Ams is toxic
When did you "get out"? Surely you were not around when ENDO bought AMS or even when AMS bought LaserScope or you wouldn't be using "no reason to buy" language. Perhaps you are a slow learner.Glad I got out when I did. Mike Kujak knows nothing about the business. He has only come close to making the number by LOADING UP the MSP's with fibers every quarter. That game will come back to bite him.
And - now one of his MSP's and AMS are locked in a court battle - suing and counter-suing each other. I predict more of this very soon from other MSP's.
Coloplast has no reason to buy AMS.

Shirley? marty Emerson overpaid when he bought laserscope and was shortly thereafter fired. Dave Holveck overpaid by atleast a billion dollars when Endo bought ams and was fired, sure he called it a retirement, double whammy with buying healthtronics. Tony Bihl left and all of his cronnies were fired. Enter the sandman Camille and rajiv. Rajiv has made a name for himself by buying pharma companies and slashing/dumping businesses that are not complimentary. AMS and endo didnt work well together oh yeah and there's that little mesh litigation issue that cost another $billion.
But lets look at the businesses:
Womens health. Toxic, nuclear winter sent in years ago. Nothing will grow here.
Prostate Health. Mobile lawsuits, no growth domestically. Raising fiber price is the only strategy. Internationally trying to launch an enucleation fiber with HPS? GMAFB.
Mens health. Profitable. Cash cow.
So the roof is on fire in Minnetonka and Rajiv is able to give the company to Boston for 1 billion less than Dave holveck paid for it? 2 billion if you add in the litigation cost? Call 911 there is a robery going on! Boston will do nothing with womens health, too many anti-trust issues. Mens health will continue to thrive, and the prostate busness? Sell it to UHS.
Im sure Camille and Dev and Mike and Pam and Steve all will collectively pack up there offices and move their junk to Maple Grove or Arden hills....
Oh yeah. I wasnt around.
