Finally you are getting it. I said that a month ago. Why do you think the suicide rate is so high in Japan. Also, anyone wonder why your salary is only guaranteed for 2 years after the buyout is complete? Because no Japanese company is going to pay the bloated salary you make. That is if you are still around. Don’t trust the severance package either... they most likely have a plan to cut that too. FO, PS and MR are just waiting to screw everyone and walk away with a fat check.

Not surprising. My gut was telling me there would be layoffs prior to the end of the year, even though leadership has been denying so. Happen to know if home office, field or both? I’m sure they won’t be giving the promised severance...

This is so depressing.
 






General feeling is consolidsting is underway and there will be cuts. They may announce a planned strategy in november or december, but any cuts wont happen until after close
 












Predict this will be a complete Takeda takeover. This BS of 50% Shire and 50% Takeda is smoke and mirrors. Just look at the Exec team already announced for the new company - all Takeda. Sign of things to come.
