Nordisk eats your lunch with all their former Takeda reps, DM's and RSD's. With their accomplished diabetes franchise vs the Takeda me-too portfolio reps. Can't wait to see the numbers, 500 Victoza scripts for every Edarbi...errr..alo family script. Enjoy the embarrassment, losers!

Nordisk eats your lunch with all their former Legacy TAP reps, DMs and RSDs who had little diabetes experience. With their accomplished diabetes franchise vs the Takeda me-too portfolio reps. Can't wait to see the numbers, 500 Victoza scripts for every Edarbi...errr..alo family script. Enjoy the embarrassment, losers!

Fixed that for ya. At least you spelled embarrassment right. Only a matter of time before Novo's bloated sales force has their layoffs.

Hey Einstein

Novo Nordisk = Former Takeda Legacy

Ironwood = Former TAPpers

With 42 consecutive quarters of double digit growth, job security is just fine at Novo.

I got the job at Novo, I'm sorry your stuck at Takeda. Enjoy your 42 consecutive quarters of triple digit losses.

I have been witnessing the reps leaving to Novo and it seems like all you need is T2D experience because the reps are pitiful. They all ran to your company and you took them. From fired reps, to under-performing, you name it. You guys jumped from Takeda to make a lateral move and back into 5 person pods. Remember what happened at Takeda when this happened? And now you are on here talking smack??? lol. You guys are a joke.

BTW, how does Takeda treat its people differently from Novo? Remember, history will repeat itself.

You must be a brainiac TAPper, making such an idiotic statement. No way you are Takeda legacy, that has actually sold in diabetes and understands the value of a company like Novo Nordisk. You do realize we are in a worldwide diabetes epidemic? Do you realize Novo is only invested in diabetes products, hell they have nothing but a diabetes franchise with Tresiba to be approved soon and 5-6 diabetes treatments in phase 3. Have you seen the Novo stock? Novo is very different from Takeda. Has Takeda ever had 42 consecutive quarters of double digit growth, like Novo has? Does Takeda give every rep a Christmas present worth approximately $500? Btw, they are 4 person pods douchebag. They currently sell 4 drugs, soon to be a fifth. That's as many my 7 person POD was selling at Takeda when I left. Novo will keep growing, Takeda will keep declining. I can't wait to kick your TAPer know-nothing-ass during your alo/Actos launch. Your are truly the laughing stock of the industry.

I'm not a sales rep, but I have seen the rise and fall of Takeda from the inside. You just have to look at the stock price of Novo compared to Takeda to see what is plainly true ... Novo has generated far more value than Takeda becuase it is a much better run company. Pharma companies have their ups and downs, but Novo has had far more ups than Takeda.

So good luck to any Takeda reps that escaped to Novo, your future is brighter there. For those of us that are still stuck at Takeda, keep milking as much as you can, and get out when the oppurtunity comes.

Geez you really have got the wool over your eyes. My favorite part of your rant is "BTW they are four person pods douchbag." Hahahahah. You are hilarious. You do realize that you are four people selling one disease state. hhahahaha

Hey TAPper, Type 1 and Type 2 are very different. Are you the dumbass that posted on here that alo isn't a competitor to Victoza because all Novo has is insulin? Go sell some managed care for your PPI and beg the docs you also don't get your ass hand to you with your poop drug. You mustbe proud to have mastered selling in the 2 easiest disease states in all of pharma.

Novo manager here, and I just heard that one of our most frequent posters (the one that we call "40 consecutive quarter guy" ) is on your site talking smack. Sorry, but he doesn't represent how most of us at Novo Nordisk act, think, or speak. If you dont believe me, go to our Cafepharma site and poke around. You'll see that he/she gets called out PLENTY for posting the same type of arrogant, chest-thumping crap in response to any negative post.

Now let's be clear, just because I am apologizing for him doesnt mean that I also don't enjoy kicking some Takeda ass!

How is Tresiba now big guy???? Just like I said, Takeda of 4 years ago. Here comes the layoffs!!!!! Sorry you took the job!!!!

Novo reps are already talking about bladder cancer in the field. Yes, these are former Takeda reps too. They are saying this is why they left Takeda, they did not want to be associated with a cancer causing agent anymore. Too many Brutus reps out there!

The only ass that's going to get kicked is yours. Not by us. By the upcoming generic form of Lantus. An authorized generic will be embraced by managed care which will (for the first time ever) begin blocking/restricting other insulin medications. The same ones that provide you a jobby job. You should have stayed put if you had a choice. Enjoy your upcoming layoff. Maybe we'll hire you back if you didn't burn any bridges.

LOL..have fun launching your cancer causing T2D agent this summer! Maybe if your lucky, Nesina and Edarbi will both be in your "bag". Perhaps you should read the growth charts for Victoza and what it's being used for. Are you the same idiot that called Victoza a insulin? With 42 consecutive quarters of double digit growth, job security is just fine at Novo.

Sounds like a nerve got touched. It should have. A generic insulin will be firmly embraced by all the managed care organizations. For the first time ever you will begin seeing NDC blocking (as will DPP 4's). Novo and the other insulin companies are overstaffed currently because of hardly any formulary pushback. That's about to change dramatically. Mass layoffs will follow to bring those companies sales forces back in line with the rest of the industry.

Typical Takeda Actos sample-dropping rep you are. let me teach you something about the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.
There are at least two major obstacles preventing generic Lantus from becoming available. First, Lantus is considered a "biologic" medication and is, therefore, under different rules and laws than most other medications. At this point, generic biologics, including generic Lantus, are not allowed to be manufactured in the United States. Currently, legislation is under way that may change the laws concerning generic biologics (including insulin), but it is not clear when (or even if) this may happen.

Second, several unexpired patents protect the drug. The first of these patents already expired in May 2010. Other additional patents that expire at a later date may continue to protect Lantus from generic competition.

Next time, actually learn the topic you are trying to comment on since you obviously don't know the difference between a pharmaceutical and a biologic.

I'm sorry you didn't get the Novo job.
