not sure where your hostility is coming from. three friends of mine were 'reorganized' and they got paid for unused vacation time. i'm just suggesting to burn the sick time instead of vacation time in case it translates to more in the severance package. why so angry? just trying to help people.
the hostility is coming from an HR representative. Your suggestion to use sick days and to save vacation days offends him/her and potentially impacts his/her bonus
