The Shit is getting deep!

Surgical will be fine. We launched the new flex tip scope, and we are seen as procedure based, more clinical than mp, as LESS is really starting to take off and become a driver. I for one, am not worried as DS is a great leader and is very positive about the company[/QUOTE

After the town hall I feel alot better. Our leadership you not lie to us. We are good!!!!!!!!!!

We all need to be careful because the "leadership" that ran this company into the toilet that you guys love so much just wants us to stay on so sales do not decline so they can get a better buck for the company. I've been through this many times with the same group, and the story is the same. I think their luck has run out....

I could not agree more. I love our leadership. They know what they are talking about. I showed my new flex tip scope to a doc. He asked "is that the only new product you have for the platform you are charging more for" I said "well yes it is, but it is the future, and so is LESS". He said I'll take it. It worked, I am so happy. I love LESS, Coviden is so dumb for backing off this game changer.

This guy's good... I honestly can't tell if this is sarcasm or kool aid. Well played!

The focus needs to be on selling quality imaging products and LESS, that is the only way that we can make it. I for one, am very happy to work for a good company like Olympus that really cares about its employees. Please keep these posts positive, and lets control what we can control. This is a trying time, but a great time to be with the org.

I guess some people just like, corruption, lying, stealing, fradulent accounting, firing people to save $$$, involvement in organized crime, cheating, ....... Need I go on?

No exodus of reps, because there are no jobs. Marketing team will drive the ship, and will reduce the prices of key products. Senior leaders like Chad are always with key customers, and are starting to get some traction. Surgical will be the only place that will be safe during the next round of cuts scheduled for March

Did you just say the marketing team is going to drive the ship? Is there a rotation on ship driving in the Olympus Fellows program where all the "marketing" team originates?

There are many jobs out there for reps with good solid experience in med device sales so why would anyone just sit around and wait for something to happen to them in March when you can move on now? No one is ever going to make the same money in the future and I would rather have control over my own future now. This issue is of such a huge magnitude that we are ignoring the obvious....a slow painful death.

You wish you were with the big boys in Surgical, new products and now armed with clinical knowledge with LESS. Lights out my friend, this division rules and will be the only one to make it in March

The shit goes down tonight... when we wake up, the news will be on the wire.

The future of the company lies with the report, although it doesn't sound like it will be that bad. The market is betting that it won't be; and info like that seeps out.

Sorry, surgical is dead. LESS is dead, watch, wait and see. 6 months or 12 months. Look at the leadership team, marketing etc. The flex tip scope is nice but not a game changer. Keep it real, and get your resumes ready.

When its reported that management is rotten to the core, and middle managment isnt that much better, and the WSJ says that the company might be delisted anyway, where is all the money and credit going to come from to pay for basic things from suppliers and run a business? Customers are going to be able to tell if we nickle and dime them to pay for our sins. I think managment will keep the happy talk going and the shoe is going to fall in March.
