The Market is Drying Up !

Around here, Labcorp went in and purchased the laboratory from the hospital system. Does that address the issue? Just buy the lab you want. While they don't ever need to be sold as a new account, you can sell doctors on new tests. Starting salary: $1.25/week.

different business model, different type of sale, different need. The LCA's of the world will have to do this and will need people that can broker business-to-business transactions. That is where you should be if you continue to sell for LCA. If its not your skill, there are still industries that will need your skill , just not the lab business. Not good or bad, just is.

The market is terrible. I work for an ap lab and I can count on my hand the number offices that I would consider legitimate targets( not owned by hospital or physician group with an internal lab) so there are 20 labs all undercutting each other to get the business. You have shady emr deals, even shadier Tc/pc set ups , you have labs giving away equipment or
Anything else In order to gain the pathology.. It's crazy and its getting worse ..
