So it’s our fault AZ doesn’t have an environment that values and rewards honestly and hard work? If they want to pay me to drop off lunch and dump samples, I won’t complain. AZ leadership is a joke and rewards their inner circle so if you’re not in it, what is the point? Working hard and barely working doesn’t change your situation so why do more work?

I am fine with my choice lol. If they want to pay me for this, that’s their decision. I’m glad you feel empowered and are making a difference, paycheck comes next Friday either way!

Important sales topics covered include: how to order catered lunches, how many samples to drop off at the reception counter, how to fit in sufficient gym and shopping time during business hours, how to use company car for personal and family member (including 16 yr old son) use, how to cheat on recording daily calls and expense accounts, how to discourage ride alongs, how to drink and eat to excess at NSMs, etc., etc., etc.
 






There has never been a career ladder at AZ. Never has been.... never will be. It's all a scam. Learn to live with the paycheck. They basically pay you to do nothing. You will become an expert a faking calls and becoming an Academy Awards actor at meetings. If you stay at AZ more than a couple years your mind has probably started to degrade to the point where you have become a robot, walking mindlessly through life. You will try and come up with things in your life to do other thin'gs and to distract you from the mindlessness of the daily grind. At the end you will wonder what happened and it will be all your fault for staying. Worked for AZ for almost 20 years. You will make a decent living but if you think its a career it's not. It's the most stupid job you will ever have.

100% correct. I won't be a hypocrite, so I have decided to live the all-day lie. The more HR decides to screw non-diversity employees with lousy yearly increases, the less I work. I'm down to 3 days a week. Do it again next year, I'll be doing two days a week.
 






I genuinely have never been so unhappy at an organization in my professional career- felt such pressure to compromise my own morality, felt so unappreciated or dealt with such sophomoric levels of cruelness. This is a shame, I’m exhausting myself to do the right thing every day I wish I never came here. People first is the biggest lie- there are way better organizations to work for. I am trying so hard to exit the toxicity. Be kind to each other.

Amen my brother/sista! 3 days a week is more than enough to do this “job”! I have worked more than 3 days a week in many years! My numbers are good so there is not problem that I can see! The ALL DAY LIE is a Godsend to the pharma industry!
