Thanks for nothing ... The appreciation, consideration and professionalism NOT!!! It's great to learn about your friends and colleagues "employment status" through the rumor mill or here! These reps and managers helped make Cephalon a multiple billion dollar company! A simple email letting us all know would have sufficed!
 
























Hey psss they been doing same at Teva. All those redundant positions? They have been having the Teva and Ceph person interview. Winner stays and loser goes. They don't tell us. We find through the grapevine. So yes Teva people have been let go as well. No email telling us of that persons departure........
 






Just be OK with not knowing. They aren't going to send an email letting you know that Joe from accounting has been let go. That is demoralizing. Keeping you guessing at least keeps your interest. Keep playing the game until your boss meets with you to tell you that it is over.

Very few people at Teva were let go and MANY got promotions (while we get the shaft)...

What did you expect? Teva bought Cephalon. They did not have to retain anyone. Don't be mad at Teva, tell Bucci and the BOD how corrupt they are. Be sure to also let them know how bad Mike Pearson played them into selling as he and his Valeant friends loaded up on millions and millions of dollars in Ceph stock.

Bucci and all the others that collected grant and stock payoffs, took it from the pockets of the 2500 employees that lost jobs around the globe.
 






FUCK CEPHALON and TEVA! I am so happy I got cut because I have already accepted a new position and now will have 6 figures in my savings account. I will be much happier at my new position than at TEVA selling loser drugs! Everyone else will be canned when Provigil goes generic in a few short months anyway. I am celebrating this to its fullest!

Good for you. Better save your 4 months of severance squirt. Because when your new employer rolls you out of there with their own layoff in a year you'll be looking at about 4 weeks. But I'm sure you've got it all figured out.

4 months try 12 months and the people retained will be the ones being laid off in about 6 months. I got an amazing job in a better more lucrative industry because I deserve it. I was a p club winner 3 years out of my 10 years at cephalon and was proactive which is why my timing was perfect. Don't be a hater you jealous freak. Have fun working in big pharma selling a drug nobody wants. I am the one laughing all the way to the bank! Ha ha

If you deserved the job and have been at Ceph for 10 years, you would have it. Reps with 10 years did not get cut who were worth a shit.

Let me guess...your perfect new job is either a cowboy, astronaut, or movie star. And you got the max payout? What an incredible coincidence! I'm sure it's all true. What is disturbing is that I go to meetings and generally speak with decent, professional, mature adults. It's sad that we have, or in your case had, bullshiters like you running around.

Yes there is, nobody has hired for 4 weeks, nor will they until January. People talk big games on CP.....

I won't state if I was retained or let go, but I hate MS no matter what. He said a few heartless things at PC this past year, I don't doubt he relishes telling certain people good bye.
