Thanks for nothing, MNK

I left a while ago and grateful that I did, had the foresight to leave long ago. However, regardless of the reason that you are still there, you thought it wouldn't happen to you, you were comfortable working for the company, you have been trying to find a job with no luck. I am sorry that you are in this situation, but you'll be OK and there is life after MNK. Having been there for a long time, it was scary venturing beyond my comfort zone and finally taking the leap. You don't realize it now but you'll be appreciative someday that you left. Since this management team took over, it has been a horrible place to work. It was so poorly run from Mark, Hugh, Stacey on down. You needn't worry every company, every recruiter, are all aware of MNK and you will have very little explaining to do as to why you were down-sized. It'll be OK. There's a special place in Hell for these Grifters (look up the word, very applicable here). Good luck and I'm sorry.

VERY toxic environment. Be glad you are gone, you will be better off.

I know it isn't ideal and it was bad planning on multiple sides, yours included (especially those of you who KNEW this was going to happen but bought a car anyways without saying ANYTHING to your boss). The hope was that the performance improvement plan would coincide with the fleet decommission but it didn't, its one of the more annoying parts about being corporate since everyone has to approve everything. Before the decision was made we checked the credit of those affected to make sure they'd be able to afford before okaying the personal car purchases/lease to ensure that we wouldn't put people in a bad position, though I'm sure most if not all of you have backup/disaster funds just in-case. Those that couldn't buy a car on their own were let go early, we do have credit standards for our sales based employees you know, it's part of your contract. On the bright side those of you who were related to the performance improvement plan should be able to get a job at one of the many other pharmas that are a bit more lax on metrics and performance requirements. Instead of whining, maybe you should have considered what you could have done to improve your performance before corporate had to step in and take action.

I'll admit the best decision wasn't made by the committee and even then delayed several times but it's also up to employee to say 'no, this won't work.' This is why the communication plan was put in place. In the meantime speak with your loan company, they'll let you out of your lease/loan. We checked with several loan firms to make sure that was a possibility. I'm sure most of you will have a new job by the end of next week so I don't even know what you're all worried about. If you hated it here so much then consider it a favor, plus you get to drive around a new car and have a very generous severance, win-win!

This is such a classless and the most insensitive joking message I have ever read. Go away you piece of immature trash.

Lol!!! Wtf is this crock of shit? Do you even work for the company? Because you sound clueless and are just spouting off nonsense. First of all, there was no "credit check" because MNK would need permission to do that. Second, the new fleet company handles all fleet related activity (bet you don't even know that company's name) and credit was never a requirement. And third, no one was let go due to performance improvement plans. You're confusing yourself with the layoffs that happened last year.

No one should listen to this clown. Just a pathetic troll trying to rock an already overturned boat.

did most of the original Mallinckridt(civilian) managers from a few years ago also lose their jobs? I left almost 2 yeArs ago...shortly before the messed up xartermis launch, and was just curious . Thanks
