To my friends still in that "hell hole." Please use all your waking moments to network and get the hell out of that place. The emotional stress is like a stone on your chest. The best thing that ever happened to me was getting the severance package (that I jumped at) and landed on my feet. The once good company has been run into the ground by a bunch of morons. Someone once told me that it is easier to network while you are still employed, as opposed to unemployed and looking.
The products are "me-too" generic formulas and can't even be given away. The likes of people like S.C. & H.O. have taken a once great company and run it into the ground. I know you are being funny. However, under her and HO's watch they had the first layoff in 13 years of MNK branded pharma, letting go (with 6 weeks of severance) people who worked hard to sell their shit products that no one else wanted. Some of whom had been with MNK since the beginning of branded pharma in 2001. The people who brought money into the division and supported it for many years. For you Cadence, Questcor and other newer people, we sold SHIT back in the day and sold it well and supported the division.

Also, back in the day, management would have listened to the sales force who could have told them that XXR would fail. And instead of getting rid of people who sold a lot of Methylin ER, Restoril, Tofranil PM, Magnacet, Tussicaps, Pennsaid/Pennsaid 2%, and Exalgo for you, THEY would have bought something else for the sales force to sell and THEY wouldn't have treated reps that stayed through the ups and downs of the company like shit. And now those of us lucky enough (ha, ha) to still be here, we are looking at being let go also. Fuck all of you in St. Louis. Fuck MNK and fuck this new management. I'm out of here before June 22, July 2 or whenever the hell this layoff takes place. I was going to sit back and collect severance, but I'm so pissed off, I took another job with equal salary just to get the hell out of here.

so so good! Very real perspective right there. What an unfortunate situation. I'm lucky that I was able to leave on my own about 6 months ago. I watched as the new regime axed top talent after the completely slashed up top producing territories only Layoff Several 6 months later for not producing enough against a goal that didn't exist on a product that every rep knew wouldn't survive. Folks that literally created $3+ million territories out of nothing with marginally decent drugs and crappy managed care coverage.
 






Why are you running down the folks that came in to save Malli ? Mark and the team are turning the Company around. Finally after all these years "real" pharmaceutical experts like Mark and Stacy are here to show us the way.
