Terrible Culture







Sounds like you’re very ineffective at your job and that you require an inordinate amount of strict discipline. Your superiors should be commended for their effort. Unfortunately, someone with your poor attitude will never succeed and your employment at Quest Diagnostics should be terminated. You won’t recover.

What idiot would work in a sales job that doesn’t allow you to keep your best accounts? It’s called churn and burn. Who wants that? The sheep who work there don’t realize there are way better sales jobs than this garbage. Run while you can.
 






Disagree completely. It is still a great place to work...I can attest to that. It has improved so much in the past years, and know many great inspirational leaders at Quest.

I personally have worked with these individuals and GLaf for over 15 years and not once have I seen what you are describing. In fact, GLaf has been an inspirational leader for years at Quest and has promoted me and many others through his career. First time I saw his name ever on Pharma, so congrats for throwing him under the bus for no reason. It appears your anger is lashing out, you must not be doing something right. I would say over the course of 2020 Quest has done so much to help employees during COVID and to jump out and say this to give people a few black eyes for something undeservingly is completely unprofessional and honestly cowardly. Then to say never get your blood drawn at Quest is irrational. Hope it made you feel better to say this.... Good luck in your next endeavor, you will need it.


I agree with the above. Everything was great under GLF now with AH who brags about servant leadership (but instead demonstrates dictator behavior) is about to cause tons of people to leave Quest oncology. Unrealistic expectations, threats of being written up if you don’t sell 3 of a certain test even though we sell over 2000 tests. Massive turn around time problems with molecular, not enough lab employees and complete disorganization of specialty and esoteric labs. Sales expectations are not set based off current issues, you are expected to sell through it no matter what, even if the test you sold the client causes them to leave because of horrible TAT problems. Managers are leaving, oncology employees are leaving. The VP AH’s mass exodus has started and is just ramping up. If you are an oncology rep, now is not the time to come to quest. Used to be a wonderful place, but now everyone is underpaid and expectations have skyrocketed. 90% of the reps are stressed and upset, including the top performers. Wait a few years till they correct their issues before you come to quest oncology. Safe job hunting.

It's also not true in many other jobs and locations. The company is constantly trying to fight off union attempts and has very high turnover.
Though have to give credit to the Quest PR machine trying to create a rosy picture of things. They have all these suck ups going on LinkedIn trying to paint a picture of paradise when in fact it is quite the opposite.
