Can anyone give me info on the surgical division with covidien? I understand they are expanding nationwide I have an interview coming up. What is the perception of their wound closure products?
Commodity products with an expectation to make 115-125k. Yes it is uncapped but it will take a blowout year to make 150k.
This has become more of an entry level position for a person making no more than 100-110k already. Pretty much a stepping stone to break into OR medical. Do a couple of years and leave or cross over to the EMID/EBD side of things where there is better money to be made.
I love when someone writes "commoditized" like they are king shit. Get real dickhead. Your stapler and ligasure is a commodity too. If the future was so bright they wouldn't be reorganizing and laying off.

Yes, a majority of commoditized products but also some nice exclusive technologies in the bag to keep you relevant and give you a bona fide reason to be in the O.R.
